New Born Babies

Each minute of our life is a lesson but most of us fail to read it. I thought I would just add my daily lessons & the lessons that I learned by seeing the people around here. So it may be useful for you and as memories for me…….

I would like to share some interesting facts about pets.

I am a great animal lover. From my childhood, I have habit to spend time with my pets. One of my cats had a litter of kittens. I remember how small and cute they were! I have two felines right now, one is munna and the other is shadow.

My pets became part of my life, they mean lot to me.

She  loves me no matter what.

She ’s my best friend.

She’s my co passenger in my life’s journey.

She’s like my mother, who takes me into a sound sleep.

She  makes me laugh.

She ‘s the perfect stress-reducer.

They really don’t have to do anything. Just looking at my pets makes me smile.

“I’m having 3 kittens right now and the joy I get from watching them play is amazing.

They let me love and snuggle them all the time.”

They greet me at the door as though I’ve been gone weeks, even when I just run to the store for five minutes. And they don’t  let me sleep a little longer even on Sunday mornings!”

“When I come home from work my pets come running, she wags her tail, then runs over to me talking in a very high-pitched voice, as if to say, ‘I’m so glad you’re home!’ It’s so nice to be loved so very much – and it’s also wonderful to be able to return that love to an appreciative being. I am blessed!”

A pet is certainly a great friend. After a difficult day, pet owners quite literally feel the love.

“As soon as our cat realizes that I am wake she’ll kiss and lick my face.

After that it’s major snuggling time – best way to start the day. My other cat and my golden retriever bring many smiles to my face throughout the day in so many ways. My pets mean the world to me.”

Some Interesting Facts.

We  are  not the owners of pets, We are just the provider of the food and the cleaner of the litter box. Of course they love use for that.

Cats will annoy you to death until they get there way. And they know exactly what to do that will make you do it!.

Cats know they aren’t allowed on the table. That’s why they wait for you to leave the room, leave for work or go to bed before they attempt it.

Everything, and i mean EVERYTHING is theirs, not yours. Get used to it.

ATS ARE SOCIAL!! It is a complete myth that they are aloof and anti-social. It’s just that they aren’t dogs.

They are independent for sure, but cats love to play and cuddle together.

Of course there are exceptions. There are anti-social humans too.

Benefit’s of Having Pets:

According to this article in care2.com, scientists have recently discovered many health benefits that can be attributed to pets. Many people intuitively believe that pets have healing benefits, but there is now scientific proof for such beliefs:

1) Cats lower risk of fatal heart attack: Those who own cats have been found to have a 40% lower risk of heart attack, most likely due to the fact that owning a cat can reduce anxiety, which can lead to heart conditions.

2) Pets reduce stress: A Mindlab International survey reported that 55% of people were more relaxed after spending time with their pets. Stress reduction is a novelty in today’s society and can greatly improve one’s mental and physical health.

3) Pets can help people with serious illness: Physicians often encourage ailing patients to own a pet because it has been found that this can motivate people to take better care of themselves.

4)  Pets lessen the risk of allergies and asthma: Recent studies have found that children who grow up in homes with dogs, cats are much less likely to have certain allergies, and are less likely to develop eczema later in life.

5) Pet owners were found to be more interacting and understanding than those who were highly educated and with higher annual turnovers.

6) Pet owners had better interacting skills than those without making one to feel better when in their company.

7) Living with pets, helps one to develop better communication skills which brings understanding and quality relationships. It is now quite clear that, every one should have a pet for the purpose of improving his interrelation skills among other benefits.

Advantages of Having Pets:

Having a pet teaches toddlers the essential skill of empathy with other people and with animals. At this age, children should be developing a sense of compassion and emotional intimacy with others. This is how they learn to make friends and to avoid doing things that hurt others. Caring  for a pet is the perfect opportunity for toddlers to learn kindness and tolerance.Independence – exercising choice, within reason.

  • Responsibility – grooming, feeding and exercising.
  • Creativity and imagination – make believe and role plays.

  • Disposition and attitudes – develop a kind, caring attitude towards both animals and people, helping children to build a strong and significant bond.
  • Bereavement – as sad as it sounds, the loss of a pet is a less distressing way for a child to learn how to cope with, manage and experience grief and helps to set a basic understanding of what a death means.

  • Cognitive Development – babies enjoy the sensory aspects of animals. They see the pretty bird, hear the cat’s meow, and pet the soft dog. Toddlers can also learn the names and shapes of different animals, and the noises each one makes

My Beautiful Angels:

People who have pets are the most fortunate people in the world.

She came back, For Me

It’s not a story. It happened really in my life. It is all about a beautiful lady, who gave life to my life and added meaning to It.

It’s for the final time I have seen her in the last September. I still remember the moments that I spent with her. She used to kiss me daily. I used to see her for long hours sitting with her, playing and going out with her for long drives. She used to give a warm hug to me. She used to show me the Colorful Rainbow, lightening thunders. I still remember her face. When she’s in front of me I never looked straight into her eyes, but I love her so much. From the moment she left me, my life became very dry.

From that day, to this day, I waited for her. Finally she came back to with sweet smile, tones of kisses & warm hugs, Falling on my head like a memory …Falling on my head like a new emotion.

I hope by this time, you might have come to know, about whom I am talking. It’s all about Rain.

“It’s been raining in Hyderabad for the past few days. The past few days have been damp, rainy and cool. My shoes get wet each time I go outside. My body gets chilled. The rain brings the beauty. I like the rain so much. I like the beauty surrounding me most. I wouldn’t really like a world without rain. So much beauty would be missing.
One of the Nature’s gifts is Rain. Even though it doesn’t have any taste, it’s the source of life on Earth.

For me, rain can stir up a lot of different emotions depending upon the situation, location, and who I am with or if I’m alone.

Rain can be:

Very sensual and romantic; cause a feeling of calm and peacefulness to wash over you; make you extremely reflective and introspective; bring about a ton of thoughts about the past/present/future and help resolve issues that I might be struggling with at that particular time; well,

I love listening to the rain softly hit the windows or the roof as I go to sleep. It almost creates a feeling of comfort and being safe and that in it will tend to lull me to sleep.

When it falls, the noise is like a song of nightingale that gives rest to the tired bodies. We can forget all our worries in its sweet noise.

When she touches the Earth, the fragrance that comes is the best perfume on this planet.

Rain brings the message of revitalizing ourselves. It brings life in all dead, half dead, half open buds etc.

When it falls, it was followed by ride of swing made of seven colors.

I love jumping in puddles like a child and watching clouds form before their magical droplets fall. I love the feel of raindrops on my skin. The sound of rainfall when I am tucked in bed. The vision of thunder in the distance. The scent in the air after a storm. Natures beauty is in all her seasons.

Some Romantic Thoughts For the People with Partner’s:

Take advantage of any time alone together.

Walk down the street and eat cutlet or pakoras.

Spend some Time in the Kitchen with your partner.

Listen to classical music and cuddle in the dark or w/ blacklight.

Take showers together.

Hold her/his waist inside the back of her/his shirt.

Hugs are the universal medicine,. Give a warm Hug occassionally.

Hold hands and Go for a long walk down the empty streets.

Sleep together. (Actually sleep with each other,  not sex).

Lightly kiss their collarbone and their jawbone just below the ear, then whisper I love you.

Go hiking and camp out together in the woods or on a mountain.

Lie on your partner’s shoulders or laps.

Lips were made for kissing.
So you can kiss forehead, eyes,  fingers,  cheeks, lips, collarbones,  hands,  ears, waist, feet, etc.

Always hold her around her hips/sides.

If both have habit of reading books, do it together.

Dance together, Sing together, Dedicate favourite songs on Radio, to each other.

SIt in the balcony and enjoy the nature’s beauty.

Girls look much beautiful after she’s fallen asleep with her head in partner’s lap.

Unless you can feel their hair beating, you aren’t close enough.Brush her hair out of her face for her.

Together see the Favourite movies.

Carry her to bed, if it’s possible.

Never forget the goodnight Kiss. And always remember to say, “Sweet dreams.”

All love rain for one reason or other

Nature get’s cleaned.

Kid gets chance to sail with their Paper boats.
Poet gets inspiration from it
Artist gets greater imagination
Farmer gets free irrigation
Desert gets to quench it long thirst
Food lovers gets to prepare Mirchi and pakoras.
Fun lovers gets to sail ship and get drenched in the love of nature
Forest and other flora all takes a great relief from the scorching heat.

Finally I get content to write.

Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain bring new hope and give Life to our lives.  Let the rain sing you a lullaby.

Enjoy this Rainy Season.

I am Because of you, Father

All My Dear Readers,

I am very much thankful to all of you for the tremendous response that you gave, to share your opinion and experiences with your father. It’s an attempt made to come out with an Article, which is nothing but the collection of mails i got from you all. I got hundreds of mails and still I am receiving them. Unfortunately I am unable to publish all the mails that i have got. I expect this kind of support from you all forever. This blog is not individual’s, Anyone can share their expertise & experiences of their life, to the outer world………

This article is dedicated to all the people, who are leading their life in the memories, of their lost ones. Recently i have lost my both the grand parents, who used to pamper me like a kid even at this age. I can’t forget the moment’s that i spent with them. I spent most of my life time with them..

What does father mean?  What does your father mean to you? What is his Role in your Life? What attachment you have? How did he shape you? What do fathers mean to our society, our culture, our nation? What would you change about the way we think about fathers?

The word father may mean different things for different people. To some it may bring the picture of love, laughter, respect, power, authority etc. To others it may mean fear, rejection, disappointment and failure.

I don’t get exact words to describe father, he is everything in an individual’s life.

  • F-Forever loving
  • A-At my side when I need him
  • T-Talks and listens to me
  • H-Hears my cries & happiness
  • E-Easy-going and fun
  • R-Risks anything to please our family.

A true father will get down to the level of his children; engaging in “their” world with a heart full of love, care and concern not for what they do, but because they are his own; a gift given to him by almighty. He exercises patience in times of rebellion and yet spurs his children on to become who they are called to be; what they are capable of becoming in their life.

“Sita (Orphan School Student)

When my Dad was dying, I was with him, I was terrified. I am 8 years kid, I didn’t know how to act, what to say, so I sat in silence. He asked me, “Aren’t you going to give me a hug?” When we hugged, he started to cry. That memory has broken my heart ever since.  I don’t have anyone, my mother left me with my father, when I was 5 months old.  After my father’s death I was joined in this Orphan School.

“Sanjay ( Medical Representative)

Ten years ago on February 14 th 2002 was one of the worst days of my life. I received a call telling me my father was dying and to come quick. I flew to the hospital, but I failed to see him alive.

” Prasithan ( DJ)

My father who is 67 years old, died suddenly of a heart stoke at the dinner table in 2009. I still remember his last looks, which asked me to save him. At that time i was scared & helpless. By the time I recovered from shock, he left me alone in this world. He left his last breath in my hands. I hug him and cried through out the night, because I know that he is no more.

After all this time it still hurts to talk about it and I have been through a lot of self-medicating and therapy to get on with my life.

“Nirmala (My Mother)

I don’t find any words, which can be used to speak about my father. The only thing I can tell you is father should be like My Father. My age is around 50; I lost my father in the year 2011. Before your father came into my life, my life is my Father. After that your father became a part of my life.

If, I recall the moments that made happy before, now I get cry, because my father is no more.

I was married 28 years back with your father, but till now my father is my driving force. What do I mean is?

To a Women husband is important, more than that father’s love is important.

To whatever heights we move, we are still kids to our parents. Never hurt your parents through your actions, behavior, words, attitude through any means, because they will never tell that you are hurting them.

Venkata Seshagiri Rao Ongole (QA Manager)

My father is everything to me, He is my Strength & he is my Weakness. Not only that, He is my best friend, philosopher, guide and more over he is my Role Model. He has got Tons of patience; he never loses his temper on any critical issues. And he is an excellent yoga guru.

The most unforgettable moment in my life is when he told me “Giri I have confidence in you, you can achieve anything in life. I am not worried of your future. “By listening his words, I really felt happy. From childhood he trusted me a lot. I used to feel very comfortable with him.

Due to my job and my responsibilities, I am missing him badly. I make it a point to talk to him, listen to him as long as he wishes to talk. I wish I was with all through.

In my opinion Father is guide to their future journey of his children.I am very much fortunate to have such a father.

 “Manjula Devi (House Wife)

Like millions of people, I grew up in a single parent household. I lost my father in the early age of my life. When I was in schooling, I lost him. He is the Hero in my life. The most influential person in my life is probably not even aware of the things he has taught me or of how much he has affected my existence.

This person has always been in my life, from the day I first opened my eyes to the moment he left our family alone in this worthless world. He is a protector, well wisher, teacher, a guide, and a source of strength and support. He is whom I look up to with loving trust and pride. With a willing hand to lend, he is a helper; an adviser .He showed me the stars and taught me how to reach them. This person means the world to me, so who is this influential person in my life? He is my one and only father.

 “Chandini (A Hijra)

When my parents came to know I was Hijra, they sent me out of house. At that time one Human God took me into his arms. At that small age I don’t know what to call him, he said “I am your father, I feel happy if you can call me Father”.

All these years no one listened my hearts cry, except my god i.e. My Father. He was truly one in a Hundred million and I’m so lucky to have had him as my Dad. I thought I’d always appreciated him when he was alive but now he’s gone I look back and realize I had no idea how blessed I was to have him around. It would have been Dad’s birthday in a few weeks. I’ll probably cry my eyes out but I want to do something positive to celebrate his life. That’s what Dad would want.

Now I don’t know how to face humans. Really I am so scared of you all. Please give us a chance to live, I want to live. Please………

Spare a thought and a smile to us; we expect nothing more from so called Humans.

“Menon (BE student)

It is true that not every man or husband will be a father and not every husband who has children will be a good father. Many fathers have many children but have failed in the responsibility of fathering them. We have also seen or read about men and husbands who were unable to have children but have been exemplary fathers? Fatherhood is a great gift. It is a precious gift from God who considers godly family and rising of children to be the utmost priority in the world

A fulfilled father is not determined by the number of children he has and how successful they were, a father is fulfilled when he has sacrificed to nurture, instruct and raise his children in a way that brings honor and glory to the giver.

The first and probably the most important purpose for fathers are to build strong and fortified families.

Fathers are called not only to love and lead their wives but also to love their children without partiality and to raise them with care, compassion, courage and common sense.

“Nikhila (Lecturer)

“The road leading up to success can be bitter, but its result is sweet.” His teachings have made me who I am today. Every moment I think of him. How can someone replace my father, who is everywhere in life and who is life. I lost him in a road accident in the year 2002.

“Vincent (Priest)

My father is the God father of my life. He is the greatest gift to me and my family. He has shown the approach towards life. I have gained not only knowledge, but have applied his teachings to my life. Because of the example he has set for me, my father has provided the steppingstone I need to achieve my goals so that I can lead a happy and successful life. He gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person; he believed in me.

“Chaitankya Kumar( My Student )

Today is my Dad’s birthday prawin. If he was still alive he would have been 56. He passed away almost 2 years ago … and while he was very fortunate to live for as long as he did due to poor health … I still miss him.. I want to see him once. If God exists really, he should show me. I don’t know what I am alive from the day he left me.

“RamBabu (Farmer)

I lost my father 4 years back. My father is not an engineer, industrialist, teacher, firefighter, an astronaut or a brain surgeon – he is a farmer-he is a simple man – He is a Great Father. He has left the greatest impact on me. My father is the individual who has influenced me the most and is the greatest gift I have ever received. I am living in his memories and following the footsteps of him.

“Satyalakshmi( Sweeper)

My dad not only influenced me through his attitude, actions, but also influences me through his words. He has taught me a great deal about life. He shown me the light of life and instills in me lessons that he wished others had instilled in him. I lost him when I am studying Intermediate.

“Srinivas Rao (HR Manager)

My father is a potter, he is uneducated and unable to speak the languages apart from his mother, yet he has taught me all I needed to know about attitude, determination and hard work by the simple eloquence of his example. I never felt bad of his profession, because he is a professional in his profession. I remember the days that I spent with him playing in the mud, roaming on streets sitting on his shoulders, going to exhibition at nampally. He has a dream to see me in suite. After long struggle I became HR of a reputed Organization, but now he is not here to see my achievement. My present life is because of the sacrifice made by my father in the past.

“Father……. I might have felt much happier, if you might not have left me alone like his….. “

“Subramanyam (Manager)

The worst obstacle I had to tackle unexpectedly was the death of my father due to Heart disease. At that time my age was 24. I just completed my Masters then, world became dark. I don’t know what to do, then my father’s words came into my mind Life is a rocky road; the challenge is not to let it grind you into dust, but to polish you into a brilliant gem.”  Those words have lot of impact on me. I t has been 40 years back that incident happened. Now I have 1 son & daughters’, and also I am having 3 grand children. Even today I remember the words that I heard from the father. He is a great human, who I ever met in my life.

“NarsinghRao (Auto Rickshaw Driver)

I am not educated, I studied till 7 th class in ZPHS high school. My father is a Daily wage worker. He is a big drinker. Even though he used to take care of my family, provided us with the necessities in life: food, clothing, shelter, and so much more. He sacrificed himself so I can have more than he ever had. He has given me so much, including the most important thing in the world: all of his love.

In the year 2006 he passed away with problem in the lungs. Now I am running this Auto Rickshaw, to drive the wheels of life.

“Sampath (Bank Employee)

Last month I kept leave for 4 days and went to meet my family members in Vijayawada. I don’t know why I spent; I spent total 4 days with my father happily. I came back to Chennai. The last time I saw my dad, I didn’t know it was going to be the last time I saw him. He passed away recently.  He is a retired school teacher.

We don’t know when we are going to miss a person, so please make them feel your love every moment.

“Anupama (Nursing Student)

It’s been nearly 3 months since my wonderful Dad passed away. The shock and numbness are wearing off but the pain is still very raw. I knew it would be hard but I didn’t anticipate how strong the feelings of loss and emptiness would be. What I wouldn’t give to see him again! I’ll never stop missing him but I know in time the pain will start to fade. Already I find myself thinking of him in a happier light. Not ill and unhappy as he was at the end but the way he was for most of his life. Happy, positive and always making me laugh.

“Shilpa (Sex Worker)

I don’t know how my father looks like. From childhood I was with my mother. My mother is a sex worker. In my childhood many men used to come to our house, I was sent out to sleep in the corridor. I don’t know, what she used to do inside, but after 18 years I am doing the same. Now I came to know, why father is important in girl’s life. If my father is there, I might not have been in this sex work. Even my father’s age people used to sleep with me for fulfilling their wishes. It’s all my fate. I can’t change my past. I don’t say my mother is bad, but she is not good.

 “RajKumar( Electrician)

I never got to do many things with my father. He is a truck driver that is only home two days a week. When my brothers were kids, they would go with him on trips when I was old enough; he started driving for a company that wouldn’t allow it because he carried dangerous chemicals. We never went fishing or anything, mostly just helped him do any chores or repairs that needed to be done at the house.

Two years back I lost him In an Road accident.

“Susheel (Trainer)

My father is my protector, an inspiration. He shown me love, made me experience love, taught me to share love. He is the person who I love & respect most. The most Unforgettable moment in my life is the day I stepped the hostel gate biding bye to him the tears rolled down my cheek, the thing surprises is that  I was not with my father all my whole childhood but still tears rolled that day.

I can’t expect the life without him. I feel the protective charm with love, confidence in his presence. In my view my father is a great individual, he lead and leading a great life facing hurdles at every aspect in life, never stepped back from his responsibilities at any point of time.

However a father may be as individual, may be drunker, may be irresponsible, may be great person to shower lover, may be strict and aggressive yet he is a protector, guide, inspirational and confidence to children.

I can simply say that, my father made his life as a footpath, to make me to reach my destination.

“Sravani( )

My Dad died from Paralysis when I was 14 years old. I lost my parent, my hero, and my teacher. That day it-self know I will never be the same . . . as I was before.  I see my life as a puzzle – every experience in my life is a piece of unique Life’s puzzle. When combined, they form the entire picture of my life. My Dad took a piece of my puzzle with him, a piece that will never return. I am incomplete without it, without him. We shared memories that nobody else shares, which means he knew me differently than anyone else. When someone you love dies, that part of you dies as well. You can’t re-live that memory with anyone else. Your puzzle may grow, but you can never replace that missing piece. And because of that, I will never be the same again.

Even today, daily I cry for my father, not because he left me alone, because I haven’t joined him in his journey after life. It’s really hard for a girl to face this World without father. I know the struggles that I faced from the society, for not having a father. The worst part of my life is, not able to see my father’s face for the last time when he died.

I will never be the same . . . as someone who hasn’t lost a parent.

People are never gone, as long as we hold them in our hearts; they live on inside of us.

A small piece of advice my dear friends, fall back to your parents for anything and everything. I am sure that will make our lives better. Our parents may not understand all our feelings, emotions and thoughts immediately. They may not be so educated, talented & advanced,  however I am sure they will make an honest attempt to understand us at any case. And, that attempt would always make the result fruitful. It is because they deny something or go against some of our decisions it does not mean they will do it always. They always understand and all ears to us with an unlimited unconditional eternal love. Please understand your parents & respect the love, hope, dreams & the faith that they kept on you…I sincerely request each and everyone, please never miss your parents. They are the visible gods on earth..

Much love and compassion is sent to each and every person who may read this and learn how to love and be loved.

I’m missing my dad on father’s day.

Happy Father’s Day to all of you who are fathers, grand fathers, great-grand fathers and aspiring fathers.

Please feel free to share your opinion, your relation, attachment with your father in your words  in the comments below.

Miracle Made by Smile

A smile can stop tears, raise hope on life, ease ones pain, shed light on sorrow, make you blush, even fill one with excitement. The things a smile can do are truly limitless. Every ones smile can cause such different positive reactions in so many different people. The simple greatness of a smile is truly remarkable. It’s true… some of the best things in life are free, yet priceless.

I heard these words a long back in my childhood.

Recently My Friend Ashok, who is my team-mate told me about an incident that took place in life. It’s a heart Touching real story.

In his Words……
” I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello anyway.

One day when I am at a Tiffin centre in sultan bazaar one poor old man came there. He smelled really bad and all of a sudden everyone around me began to back away.

As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was “smiling”.

His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of Light,  his eyes looked as if  he searching for acceptance.

Suddenly, in a polite voice he said, “Good day” and started smiling loudly,  I was shocked by his words. I realized the man was educated, and I thought he was mentally challenged, because his clothes were torn and standing in the full sun even without sandals.

Then I really felt it – the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced the little man with the blue eyes.

That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my every action.

I smiled and asked the man to sit with me. He came and sat opposite me .

I ordered two paneer dosa, one for me and one for that gentle man. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue-eyed gentleman’s cold hand and I asked what your name is? I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, “I did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope.”

He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, “Thank you son”. I am not a beggar, but for many years I begged my children for their love, care and concern. Finally I became a beggar. I held my tears as I am there with them. By listening those words, I was unable to sit there even for a moment.

When I started walking away from him, tears started rolling from my eyes, because at that moment I thought of my parents, who I never cared, never shown concern or love. If love them, but i never tries to show to them.
That day showed me the value of simple smile and the miracle that love can make.Share a smile to everyone, it brings a lot of change in the person who gives and who receives.

I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn: UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE. ”

Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.

LOVE PEOPLE AND USE THINGS – Never LOVE THINGS AND USE PEOPLE.

To handle yourself, use your head. To handle others, use your heart.

In your Life’s journey, If you Find anyone without smile, please give them one.

Please understand your parents & respect the love, hope, dreams & the faith that they kept on you…..

Much love and compassion is sent to each and every person who may read this and learn how to love and be loved.

Help the fellow beings, in what ever you have.
Keep this going……………..Yours Ever lasting…munn@

Mr. Perfect

Good Morning all.

Today I would like share some interesting and motivating points about my QA Manager Venkata Seshagiri. Whenever I think of him, the first thing that comes into my mind is his “Ever fading smile”. He is such a great human, who wishes everyone with his smile. He is Person with quality background.

He is a professional path maker, protecting shield, guiding force, fire extinguisher, a work wheel greaser, a motivator, a pencil pusher, a role model, and if necessary, a disciplinarian in our QA Department.

In a family, father plays the crucial role in laying the foundation to the future of family members, in the similar way My QA Manager is like a father of our QA Department who is the base of Quality of any product that is produced from our organization.

Normally in many Organization’s QA Managers/Project Managers do to lot of circus to achieve the trust of their Director/VP and also from their sub-ordinates. But frankly speaking, Giri’s nature is not that. He is very good in the way he is.

Traits that I like in My QA Manager are:

Ever Fading Smile.

A smile can stop tears, stop a frown, ease ones pain, shed light on sorrow, make you blush, even fill one with excitement. The things a smile can do are truly limitless. Every ones smile can cause such different positive reactions in so many different people. The simple greatness of a smile is truly remarkable. It’s true… some of the best things in life are free, yet priceless.

I heard these words in my childhood, but after seeing GIRI, I started believing . He is such a person, who conveys almost everything with his sweet smile. Daily once I meet or talk to him to grab that lovely smile.

Excellent Interactive & Communication Skills.

Communication is an important facet of life. Communication skills are essential in all spheres of life. Every day, in many ways, we communicate with other people.

Giri style of communication & interaction with Team members is very impressive. He has the ability to communicate comfortably with people at all levels of the team & organization about the project. He conveys the message that he want to convey in clear & polite way. Basing on the requirement, he used to engage with different people in different ways in order to convey the message.

Punctual in conferences & meetings.

Many managers don’t have this trait. Giri is very punctual in almost all the areas like coming to Office, attending meetings, taking up client calls, etc. Being on time consistently shows everyone around you that you are the master of your life. It demonstrates foresight — the ability to predict possible hang-ups — and adaptability — the ability to change your plans to accommodate those hang-ups.

Great Technical Forte.

He is not only good at management skills; he is also strong at technical aspects. He has got adequate experience to smoothly run the Organizational issues. He is a High Qualified Professional.  He has got adequate knowledge on different domains.

Great Decision Maker.

In every project there are few crucial decisions which have to be taken on correct time.If any decision has to be taken Giri used to take the team mates opinion, if it’s fine used to implement it. He hasn’t got nature to take his own decisions as he like. Whatever decision he takes he used to present to team if they feel its fine used to implement it.

Sense of fairness in dealing with people and issues.

Giri is very expert in dealing the co workers and also the issues that come in the way. He used to handle them with cool mind, without going under any pressure. He know how to handle the bulls in the organization without getting into any arguments or clashes.

Involvement in the team tasks.

Giri is not only a good manager; he is also a great team player. He used to take up the whole responsibility on his shoulders, without giving burden to anyone. Working in team is always a fun. Whenever any team mate requires help, he used to stretch his hand to help them.

keeps track of all the QA activities in all the projects.

He is a person, who strives for the Quality. Quality in work, resources, actions, out come, everything. He will interact with every individual in the QA Department and finds out what happening and provides suggestions for the better results.

It’s fun to Work.

The main quality that I like in Giri is the way he see the problem or any task that has to be done. He is very cool under pressure. It’s really a great experience to work with him. He used to tell “Don’t worry Prawin, by birth no one is scientist, as the days progress you will learn”. He never shows disinterest towards work. This is one of the common qualities in both of us. I like Work N joyinG.

Consistency in Behavior.

Consistency is a core concept of personality. Giri is very consistent with his behavior. He treats and receives everyone equally. It doesn’t matter what’s the situation, environment, person, task he will be same. The way he interacts in the morning will be same in the evening time too.

Allows others to get credit for the positive outcomes.

In any organization, everyone tries to dominate others to get to top or get the credit. It happens at every level in organization. There are very few individuals who work, but expect nothing in return in terms of name, fame, reorganization, etc. Giri is one such a person, who works rigorously but allows others to get the credit for the Positive Outcomes.

Simple Human.

Apart from all these traits, there is one more important quality which i like in him i.e “Simplicity”. Normally managers try to show-off infront of others, but no my Giri. His life stle is very simple and plain. He is to talk to every individual it can be frsher or experienced, find out their problems and used to give advice to them. In the evening time, he used to join for coffee.

As per my knowledge, He is a good manager, highly organized, and has excellent communication skills; Giri have the ability to interact with all the levels, various groups/departments in our organization. The most important quality that I have seen in him is the ability to properly identify the RIGHT people needed to perform the quality tasks. The manager does not have to be able to perform all the tasks needed, but he/she should be able to assemble a department that can and then lead them to accomplish the company’s quality objectives/goals.

Venkata Seshagiri  is a successful manager who keeps everything running smoothly in our Organization.  A great manager must possess all of the qualities that my Giri have, to make a business or program run smoothly and achieve its goals.

It’s really a great Opportunity and Honour to Work with Giri.

Please feel free to share your story and any lessons you learned, you experienced, you came across in your life,  in the comments below.

Third Gender on our Planet

All these years I and my team wrote hundreds of articles on different topics and  issues. For the first time in my life, I am coming out with content, which is thought provoking and which proves how worst, we Humans are towards other Human Beings on this planet;

I want people to read this and change their mindset. I want to add that if you have any Hijras in the family, don’t be ashamed and support them.

I would like to dedicate my blog to a group of people called Third Sex on the planet, who are probably the most harmless beings, but yet are probably more feared than the terrorists. Yes I’m talking about the ‘Hijras’… When we spoke to them for the first with heart, tears rolled down on my cheeks by listening to their talk about their sufferings.

In our daily life we see Hijras on roads, near shopping malls, near temples, in trains, on streets, etc begging for money. Many of us scared to talk, to walk, to sit, to see, to hear, and even to feel their presence. Many times I too felt the same, till I came to know about their struggle to survive on this earth. Some people snap at them and use abusive words towards them… It’s not their fault that they are the way they are or that they haven’t fully been accepted in society.

When I was in northern part of India I have seen many people considering Hijras as superior humans.

It is believed that their blessings are very good for us and at the same time their curses are equally bad.

This belief makes some orthodox families to invite Hijras to special occasions like weddings, naming ceremonies and so on. In those occasions Hijras come in groups, sing, dance, perform rituals and bless everyone there.

When it comes to Southern part, its quiet opposite. Hijras are often referred to as members of the ‘3rd gender’ in India. They themselves will describe their sexual identity as being neither male nor female.

They are usually rejected for what they are and the way they live. Still, they are tolerated when they show up uninvited at special ceremonies such as births and weddings where they cash in for performing dances and blessings.

I personally spoke to few Hijras  when I went to Tamil Nadu with my team on a Training Program, whom I met in my life. I requested if I could get to know “how do they actually lead their life? What is their life story?”

It was a collection of Interviews that I done with Hijras in the recent past, when I met them on roads, trains, near shopping malls and the points from Revathis book;

The Truth About Me: A Hijra Life Story”.

The book is an eye opener to all the Homo sapiens.

The book is all about the life of an Hijra who was dragged into sexual work, to meet her basic needs. It’s really a touching story which make the readers to think for a while.

In their words……

“Please give us a chance to express our pain, problems; ill-treatment’s that we are facing in this, so called Human Society. We are going through a lot of physical and emotional turmoil and led a life full of questions and uncertainty.

Facing Challenges at every step and rudeness of society forced us to live an unimaginable, painful life constantly under fear of violence as some of us made a living by begging and sex work. We fear to think of a life beyond begging and sex-work because it earns our livelihood.

In our society, Hijras have always been looked with suspicion, ridicule and fear.

There are few people who support us occasionally; they are

    Political parties.

     Media.

     Mean Humans.

. Political parties support us, because they know very that, we have Right to Vote and they have Right to Beg for those votes.  They give lot of lectures about welfare of Hijras during elections, that’s it.

. Media supports us, because they want publicity and they need their own ratings. They interview us, they show us to the world for their own benefit.

. There are few people, who even  force us to sleep with them, for satisfying there sexual wishes and needs. We used to feel, that we are really fortunate because, we don’t behave like human animals.

Several men made bold to touch us, on our backs, on our shoulders. Some attempted to grab our breasts. ? Original or duplicate? They shouted and hooted.

People used to ask out loudly? Some out of curiosity, others out of malice? Whether we were men or women or? Number nines? Or devadasis. At such moments we felt despair and wondered if there would ever be a way for us to live with dignity and make a decent living.

We were born as Hijras; it’s not our choice or our mistake, simply its creation. We too have feelings but right from our parents to the world, nobody understands us except the ones like us.

It’s been an emotional journey all these years. Reliving the pain and torture was never easy. We want to let the society know about our life and the hardships borne by us.

We are neither men nor women. We have families and we also started going to school, but when we understood that we were both boys and girls we have left everything. For this reason now we live in a group. We are not Christian, Muslim or Hindu, we are all united. Each one is free to follow their religion. We all eat in the same dish. On the road we behave differently with you, but our house is easier to talk and we are more sociable.

We don’t feel neither men nor women. We don’t have a proper lively hood; we go on stores and take clothes and food without paying. We also do street collections. Few give us clothes, food, money. Now it is harder for us to live. Many think that, we are prostitutes with HIV; nobody passes the medicine, the care. Even doctor’s they don’t help us at all. Some of us die because we do not have medicine.

There are many fake Hijras too…silly boys trying to make a quick buck off the back of someone else’s unfortunate circumstances.

If we could be reborn, we would like to have birth as a Hijra, because.

a. We don’t know politics of life.

b. We don’t  know how to bluff own people.

c. We  know how to give pain to everyone.

d.We  don’t know how to trouble parents.

e.We are not greedy for wealth.

f.We live in what we have, if possible we help others.

g.We dont fight for power.

h.We don’t go in wrong path, to pursue name & fame.

i. In us fathers don’t  know how to sexually harass own daughters.

j.We don’t  know how to kill parents for property.

k.We don’t know how to fight for separate states.

l.We don’t  know how to play wife lives of people showing love.

m.We don’t know how to leave life partners, by getting attracted to new ones.

o.We don’t know how to share our life partner with friends.

p.We don’t know how to fight for separate states.

q. We don’t know how to show community feeling.

r. We don’t know how to through away new born babies.

s. We don’t are not alcoholics or womanisers who disregard their family.

t. We don’t know how to show-off.

u. We don’t know how to rob from the public.

v. We don’t know how to kill our parents for property.

w. We don’t even know how to trouble Hijras.

like this there are many more, which we Hijras don’t know

Without knowing all these, how can we expect to have birth as Normal Humans like you all.

The only thing that we know is, to silently bear the pain.

I am sorry to say …..All you Humans are very educated, advanced, intelligent, successful, rich with name & fame, but without minimum morals, courtesy, care and concern towards the fellow human beings.

Really we are scared of you Humans. Please give us a chance to live, we like to live. Don’t kill us or make us kill ourselves with your words, actions, behavior. Please……… give us chance to live on this planet.

Our Sincere Request to All Civilized Humans:

1. Please when ever we stretch our hand for help, if possible help us, because we don’t have any one else.

2. When we are diseased please provide medicine.

3. Let our children go to schools like your children.

4.We too expect some entertainment, So when we come to theaters or public places, don’t abuse us or hit us.

5.Don’t criticize or comment us with bad words, because we too have Heart.

6.When we are starving for food, please provide us with the food, that you leave away.

7. Finally, When we die please provide 6 feet land, to bury our dead bodies in the cremation ground.

Treat Hijras as normal human beings. Spare a thought and a smile to us; we expect nothing more from so called Humans.

If there is any mistake in our words, please forgive us. Sincere thanks to these students, who spoke to us with real heart. ……”

Please feel free to share your story and any lessons you learned, you experienced, you came across in your life in the comments below.

Long Lasting Relationship

I would like to share some of the points, for a  Long Lasting Relationship that I heard from my Grandfather and also I would like to share his relationship with my Grandmother.

In his words….. “Life is bound with relationships. Everyone have their own perception towards relationship. However, good adult relationships generally involve two people who respect each other, can communicate, and have equal rights, opportunities and responsibilities. Most of us would also expect our relationship with our partner to include love, intimacy and sexual expression, commitment, compatibility and companionship.

After being married for more than 45 years I thought I might take a moment to share secret to a successful relationship.

Your Grandmother name is Lakshmi.

It had been a long journey with her, with Ups & Downs. I really enjoyed her company, but till now I haven’t told her how much I Love her. But now, it’s already late.

I give all the credit to her for the success of our relationship. However, it has been a joint effort, with my wife being a major contributor to the results.

The fact is that I am an extremely lucky man who married a woman who demonstrates some incredible qualities that are the necessary ingredients required for any successful relationship.

My wife and I used to pray, enjoy together, share sorrow together, dream together, and respect each other and our differences. We give each other room to grow. We listen. We talk. We date. We laugh. We plan. We look for ways to give, and not just to get. We share intimacy.

From few years, she is suffering from an unknown disease. The day on which, doctors told that she can’t trace me; on that day itself I was dead. She scarified her life to make me and our children happy. She has done everything that she can. Now I retired from my job. I thought I can have a great time with lakshmi, but.  ”

My heart full request to all the Men, no one knows what’s going to happen in the next moment, so please care, love, respect, do want ever you can do make your life partner happy.

There are few things which have to be considered, if you can master these you will be on the path to success in all your relationships.

Respect your Relationship:

The first and the foremost thing is that, you have your Relation with your partner.

Trust

My wife trusts me & I trust her. She is my true friend,  and has followed me into endeavors throughout the years where even angels would have feared to tread. Throughout the years we have failed and we have succeeded in our life’s journey, but we never lost hope on each other.

Share your Feelings:

Until unless we tell even our partner can’t understand few of our feelings. Don’t keep your likes and dislikes, dreams and fears, achievements and mistakes, or anything else to yourself. If it’s important to you, share it with your partner. More than that be sure to share more with your partner than you do with anyone else.

Talk to each other:

Just because you love each other doesn’t mean you will be able to communicate well or can read your partner’s mind, or that they can read yours. Communicate your needs – don’t wait for your partner to try to guess what is going on with you. If you have something to bring up, do it gently. Going on the attack rarely gets you what you want. It is also important to listen to each other.

Tell your partner you love them.

A simple “I love you” or “You mean the world to me” can go a long way towards making your significant other feel wanted, cared for, and secure in your relationship. Take a moment every now and then to verbalize your feelings for your partner.

Everyone is different:

It’s not fair to expect everyone to be as we like. Accept and value differences in others, including your partner. We often choose people who have qualities and abilities we would like more of. This is one of the reasons why our relationships offer us significant opportunities to grow and develop as people. Remind yourself of this.

Show appreciation for your partner.

Building a romantic relationship isn’t just about the initial bonding – it’s about encouraging and supporting each other’s growth over the course of your lives. Help your partner achieve his or her potential by constantly building them up. Let your partner know on a regular basis what it is that you like most about them – what you admire, what makes you proud, what their strengths are in your eyes.

Make “alone time” a priority.

No matter how busy both of your lives are, make sure you commit at least an evening every week or two to be alone together. Have new experiences, share your stories, and just generally enjoy each other’s company.

Small acts of physical intimacy:

In my opinion the littlest touch can be as important, or even more important, than the longest night of sexual intimacy. Small acts of physical intimacy – the hand on her shoulders, your arm around their shoulder on the sofa, your hand on their thigh when seated side-by-side, holding hands while walking down the street, giving her a hug occasionally – give your partner a warm feeling and convey the love and affection you feel for them.

Blindness

I have faults. My wife has faults. Do we concentrate on our human flaws, or do we choose to be blind to some of those things, and rather become attuned to those qualities of the other party that we admire. Both of us have chosen to concentrate on the finer qualities that we portray rather than focusing on those things that annoy us.

Make plans:

Set goals for your relationship and plan for your future. This shows that you are both in the relationship for the long term.

Be supportive:

Try not to judge, criticize or blame each other; we are all human, there is a chance that we do make mistakes. Remind yourself that you are a team, and in order for the team to be successful, you each have to cheer the other on.

Commitment

When we got married we decided that we will together for life time. The amazing thing is that many people have come in and out of our lives these past forty-five years, and yet our relationship is stronger than ever – and we are more in love with each other than the very first day we met.

Through the years I have seen my co-employees dissolved, friendships wax and wane, but our commitment to each other, through thick and thin, has continued to become stronger as iron does in the furnace.

I remember a day when my lakshmi had her bags packed ready to leave. She had good reason to, but she didn’t. Why? Because she was committed.

Forgiveness

In a relationship if any of the Individual makes a mistake, the other person should forgive and guide them in correct path.

If there is one greater than us who can forgive us, then it is only natural that we should forgive others.

Be sexually considerate:

Be affectionate (sometimes a lingering kiss or a warm hug are just as important). Accept that individuals have different sex drives and to sustain a healthy and happy sex life requires negotiation. A reduction in a couple’s physical connection is often a warning sign of problems in a relationship.

Take nothing for granted.

Cultivate a daily sense of gratitude for your partner and the thousands of little blessings he or she has brought into your life. Remember that, if you’re happy in your relationship, your partner is doing a thousand little things for you every day to make your relationship work  (as, hopefully, you are for them). Never take that for granted – a relationship is work of the highest order, and the second you stop it starts to slide away.

Things to remember

  • A good relationship doesn’t just happen – you have to work at it.
  • All couples experience problems and challenges in their relationships.
  • There are many things you can do to help build healthy and happy relationships and prepare for the challenges along the way.
  • Relationships change. You need to be aware of how they are changing and adapt to those changes.
  • If problems become too difficult or complex, consider seeking the help of your family members.

Successful relationships are forever.

My First Job

Hi Friends Good Morning to one and All, I am very much happy to say that my Job got confirmed at Prime Ki Software Solutions Pvt Ltd. It’s anunforgettable day in my life. Now I can proudly say to everyone that I am also a Job Holder.

One’s first job offer is usually a cherished memory. I would like to share “My First Job” experience.

I experienced many ups and downs to get this job. I remember the days…… “When I was studying I had to dream to get place in a reputed organization as a Software employee and to go with further studies. Since there were a few months left for me to kill before the course, I started looking up job opportunities. I completed my Engineering from a college in my home town  near to Hyderabad in the year 2010. I was very much inspired by founder of Infosys i.e. N. R. Narayana Murthy.

From then I started my hunt for Job. My parents are not so educated. Frankly to say there is no one to guide me in getting a job. I came from a middle-class family. My father is the only source of Income. I know if I can’t get job now, I will become more burden. So I gave up my dream of Higher Education. I decided to support my family economically, by getting a job.

I know most graduates undergo these challenges at some point in their lives, but I felt I was totally down.

I came to Hyderabad and joined in technical training Institute. I used to stay in hostel at SR Nagar. I used to work for 14 hours daily. At that time the only goal I have is  “ To get a Job”. Even though I have got above 75% throughout career, I haven’t got much interview calls. I used to feel my life is over. Now a whole year had passed and there wasn’t a single call from any Recruitment organizations. It was disheartening, but how could I let go of my dream so soon, so easily?

When I was in hostel, every month my father used to send me 4000 rupees. In that, 2900 rupees I used to pay as hostel fee and with little money left I used to spend whole month. From my room to Training Institute bus fare is 4 rupees. I used to walk all that distance to save those 4 rupees. In the evening I used to drink sugarcane juice and used to continue my lab practice in the Institute. I came to know the value of money, parents and I came to know value of life. In the last two years I haven’t gone even to a single movie. I haven’t met any of my friends because I can’t show my face without job.

As months passed, the road ahead seemed uncertain to me. At that point of time, I wasn’t sure if I should go ahead and follow my dream to do a Job or go by pursuing my post-graduation

Daily I used to question myself “Everyone is getting job, why am I not getting? Really Do I deserve it? Am I worth full to get a job?” like this many questions started rising in my mind. At that my parents stood with me. They were the only support that made to stand up and fight back.

I spoke to a few people from the profession and they advised me not be too adamant about my options at the start of my career. They advised me to try looking for opportunities outside of Hyderabad. On a fine day with god’s grace I got Interview call from Prime Ki Solutions Pvt Ltd.

I gave my interview at Prime Ki Software Solutions Pvt Ltd on Feb 24-2012. Till the final results were announced I was very nervous. The time when results were announced, for a moment I thought I conquered the World because I was selected. But my happiness hasn’t last for long time. I reported at Prime Ki Software Solutions Pvt Ltd on march-5-2012, they told that 3 months is probation period, where if the performance is not good they have rights to terminate me and for the first three months I have to work for free.

After one week I was placed into project. From then for three months, I worked as if I was very hungry of work. During that period I faced lot of financial problems. Daily my traveling expense is around 45 rupees. I used to come by local buses even though they are very crowded. Because the bus fare is very low compared to auto rickshaws. I haven’t even gone out with my team to have coffee or lunch in those 3 months. I used to have milk which was provided in our office. I used to get lunch box from hostel for the lunch. There are no words to explain the struggle that i faced during that period.  I can’t ask my parents for more money, so I spent very plain life.

Finally today i.e. on 5-June-2012, I got my offer letter. I don’t have words to say. I called my parents and told them the news, they felt really happy. At that moment I am unable to stop my tears. I let them roll down because; I only know how much pain I took all these days to get the job. I know how many sleepless nights I spent, I know how many interviews I gave, I know how many organization steps I climbed for job, I know how many people I requested for reference, Finally I know what am I.

My words may look funny to you, but I want to tell everyone that.

“Life is not easy, as we dream and Life is not as hard as we think. The only thing is you have to understand life.”

Small suggestion to Job Seekers.

During your job search, constantly remind yourself of you capability to locate a suitable job and that there is a fantastic opportunity waiting for you. Discard all ‘negative’ thoughts that are not supportive to your job search. Listen to advice and guidance that will help make progress in your job search and not the unhelpful talk that will paralyze you with fear. Fear is not useful in a job search situation because it closes you down instead of opening you up to all the opportunities that exist out there. If you fail in 100 Interviews, you should be ready to give 101th interview with same fire, interest, zeal that you shown on the first.

If you get job early, you are Good.

If it takes few attempts to get job, you are Great.

If takes many attempts to get a job, then you are Unstoppable in future.

 Where to look for jobs

There are a number of ways you can search for jobs:

  • through newspapers
  • on the internet
  • by registering with recruitment agencies
  • in trade journals
  • through friends and other people you know

Personal and social skills

Ask yourself the following questions about life outside work:

  • Do you get on well with people?
  • Are you on a local committee or a member of a community organization?
  • Are you part of a team, (for example, a sports or quiz team)?
  • Do you have skills from caring for your family, (for example, organizational skills)?
  • Have you done any voluntary work?
  • Have you been to any evening classes or training?

Employment skills and experience

Ask yourself the following questions to think about skills you have developed, including those built up in jobs you have had before:

  • Did you develop any skills that will be useful in the job you’re looking for?
  • Have you worked as part of a team?
  • Did you need to share information with others?
  • Did you follow or give instructions well?
  • Are you a good timekeeper?
  • Do you have IT skills?
  • Did you get any qualifications?
  • Were you praised for any part of your role?

One should experience the Job Hunt. It’s really challenging and a memorable experience. I shared about my first job experience, What about yours?

I heart fully wish every job seeker to get placed in a better organization as per your dreams.

Life Is Like A Cup Of Coffee

Each minute of our life is a lesson but most of us fail to read it. I thought I would just add my daily lessons & the lessons that I learned by seeing the people around here. So it may be useful for you and as memories for me…….

Today, when I am having coffee along with my Freaks, A story called  “Life Is Like A Cup Of Coffee ” came into my mind, which I heard a long back when I am in my 8th standard…

It is a wonderful narration of a simple story that shares a great perspective of life and the way we live it. This story is based on the way we see and lead the life. The story is all about the conversation between Professor and his old students, who come to meet him after many years of their college life.

Story starts like this….” A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups – porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite – telling them to help themselves to the coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: “If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups have been taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.

Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups… And then you began eyeing each other’s cups.

Now consider this: Life is the coffee; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have does not define, nor change the quality of life we live.

Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee. Savor the coffee, not the cups!

The happiest people don’t have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything. Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.

This story provides a simple, yet profound look at life that may shed light on how challenges being faced today need to be addressed, and hopefully, resolved. Maybe, just maybe, it can be looked at as the simple approach to tackle complex problems. And, I’ve asked myself if it could really be instrumental in making people look at things differently and provide hope, where hope was not even considered before.

Anyway, go through the story  and give this some thought. Then, please share it with your family and friends and request they share it with people they know. If we can ultimately help just one person, or just one family, we will have made progress. Progress that’s necessary to survive this rough economic storm.

Please feel free to share your story and any lessons you learned, you experienced, you came across in your life in the comments below.

My First Kiss

Each minute of our life is a lesson but most of us fail to read it. I thought I would just add my daily lessons & the lessons that I learned by seeing the people around here. So it may be useful for you and as memories for me…….

Today I would like share My First Kiss Experience. From Childhood I have good collection of Girls.Last night I got a kiss from one of my girl friend. As everyone know It’s a sweet experience. I just looked back into my life. It’s really a long long journey in all the ways. I remembered my First Kiss Experience with one of my girl friend, which is a magical one.

Around the time of my 16th birthday I started hanging out with my best friends a lot. When I am 16 I was Talented,Young, stupid, very assertive moreover romantic. I didn’t have big social life at that time.Just I used to spend my free time with the girls. Many used to say that I am a big flirt, but intentionally I never tried to flirt any girl. I agree that my words are bit attractive and assertive.

When I was in my  +1  I got into relationship with one of my classmate called Nikhila Chowdary.  She is really beautiful and hot. She used to speak with only few members in the class, I am one among them, but I have many, she is one among them. In the class  Madhu used to sit with me. She was my childhood friend. Later Vinotha started sitting along with me. I along with few more used to bunk class and sit in the park near to my college.

During exams i used to assist her in the theoretical subjects, she used to help me in Mathematics. I used to visit her house frequently. Even her parents liked me.

Everything went on well for few months. One day she told that she love me. I was simply said shocked and said  I am sorry, because I never seen her in such a way and moreover I din’t have belief on love. She left from there without a word. After a week she back apologized and asked me to be friend. From then my life changed.

I remember the day i.e. on February 3 we completed our Lab exam. She asked me come to her house. Normally I went. Both of her parents are employees, so no one in the house. Afternoon We had lunch, till evening we prepared for the exam.

She was sitting side to me, lying on my shoulders and said “Munna I love you and want to have you in my life. Munna I want to kiss you.” Before too she had told me that she wanted to kiss me a number of times.”I asked her not to make fun, then Suddenly she hold my hair and kissed on my lips, but I tried to avoid her because I don’t want  to let go of my first kiss so early.

Her lips were so soft against mine, and it slowly progressed until both of us were breathing hard.I found myself completely unable to move, The only thing I did was open my eyes for just a sec, too see if she had her eyes closed too. No regrets, because she looked adorable. The ironic thing is though, is that I didn’t even realize I’d been holding my breath until she retreated. That experience  was sexy and scary and fun, but not intentional from my end.

The Relationship between us didn’t last long, but she gave me a memory and a new habit, like a life time treasure.

Even though that was not perfect kiss I’ve ever shared with someone, and I will always remember it as the most magical. It’s really magical because from that day to this day I never stopped kissing girls.

If you look at me Today, I am a Freak getting Kisses, Hug’s almost everything without saying NO even to single girl. The only thing that I like in me is Till now In my life I never ran behind anyone.

My words and attitude may be hard to receive, but I am haven’t made mistake, not making any mistake, will not make any mistake. My philosophy is

” If a girl is comfortable with you, there is nothing wrong in being with her in any way, If she don’t like you, It is a mistake even if you stare at her.”

Whenever I get into relationship with girls I had an agreement:  Can held hands, spend time with me, hug’s, flirting,  and kissing on the cheek is allowed…  lips too.

Till now I kissed many girls, I don’t know exact count. Even yesterday I kissed a girl. It’s my habit to give a bear hug and a sweet kiss. It doesn’t mean that I am person always willing to have a physical attachment. That’s the only way through which I can convey my care, concern, love, affection…

If my behavior hurt anyone, I am sorry and I am helpless, because If you are not interested I might haven’t been in your life and memories..

I love to experience love, i love passionate hugs, i love sweet kiss, i love caring words, i love consoling heart, i love helping hands, I love fingers which wipe out my tears, i love the heart which thinks of me, overall I love girls.

I don’t know whether I am good or bad, I don’t even have time to think. I simply believe, I am good in the way I am.

Why Love Hurts?

Each minute of our life is a lesson but most of us fail to read it. I thought I would just add my daily lessons & the lessons that I learned by seeing the people around here. So it may be useful for you and as memories for me…….

Getting dumped is perhaps one of the most difficult situations in life. Today i would like to share a Real story which i heard in the today’s early hours from a stranger . As usually I started to office by 8 clock in the morning. In the bus  I met a guy, who is around 26 years. I have habit to interact with the people around me whenever I  travel in bus, train, plain etc. After few minutes I started conversation by telling my name and he told his name as Vijay. In the words he told about his bitter experience with a girl who dumped him.

In his words ”  I  worked as a Software Engineer  for a reputed organization. Few months back I left the job. When I am working, I used to stay  in a room near Ameerpet Hyderabad, whereas my family members lives in our home town. Days passed well, till I met a girl called Akshaya(name was changed). She was my team mate in the office. Initially i felt bit uncomfortable whenever she spoke to me, because I am not good at girls. As the days passed our relation became thicker. We use to leave the office together. From my office it takes 15 minutes to reach Bust Stop, during the walk we used to talk freely. Daily we used to go out for the lunch and in the evenings she used to join me for coffee. One day by mistake she misplaced her laptop in a shopping mall and she lost . So, i brought a new one a gave to her. Initially she hesitated to take, at end she took the laptop.

Next day morning she came to me and she told that she love me and if I am interested she want to marry me, I felt so happy by her words. I introduced her to my family members.

In the last summer we went out for a tour to Kodaikanal. It’s an unforgettable memory in my life. Each moment i spent there with Akshaya is precious. We were there for 3 days. We visited Palani temple, Kodaikanal forests, hills, waterfalls…After coming from our tour she felt sick due to climatic change. She became very tired, suffered from fever. I took her to the hospital. Doctor said she was very sick and asked me, to admit her in the hospital. I felt nervous and called my friend. That whole night I was sitting near her bed looking at her. On the next day morning I went to nearest temple and prayed god for her. With gods grace, she recovered in two days. Like this there are many incidents between us.

Occasionally i used to present her with valuable gifts. Every day we used to meet, talk for long hours in phone after office, used to go for movies. In the weekends she used to come to my room, where we had a great time. I thought I am the luckiest person on the earth and we were inseparable.

Everything was going on well, but suddenly all the happiness vaporized from my life. I remember the day i.e. December 24 2011, which brought total darkness into my life. That day in some work tension I haven’t attended her call. She started calling continuously, I got angry and I asked not to disturb me. She told Bye forever and put the call. In the evening I went to her cabin to her, but I came to know she left the office in Afternoon itself. I called her around Hundred times, but she haven’t responded. At around 12 clock in the night she put a message ” Vijay please leave me, my marriage got fixed. I will be happy If you don’t disturb me”. Thats it ……

The time that i spent with her is best of my life. They are unforgettable memories in my life. After her arrival into my life, I changed a lot. I changed my food habits, dressing, way of speaking everything for the sake of her. Akshaya have habit to go to pubs, so even if i don’t like I used to join her along with her friends. She used to move freely with boys, even thought i don’t like I got adjusted.

In the last two years I liked her, loved , Respected, took lot of care and provided everything that she asked, till my energy.

After she left me, She moved to other organization and immediately she got married to a Government Employee .Through our friends i came to know that before marriage only she was in relation with that guy whom she married now. I don’t understand why did she come into my life uninvited.

Recently I have seen Akshaya in the BanjaraHills, Hyderabd. I found the address to her office. I decided to meet and talk to her. So, I am on my way to meet her, not to give her any trouble or make her feel inconvenient,  just to ask her why did she enter into my life . She is happy with her life without me, but what about me? I am unable to assume my life without her. Every moment her memories are haunting me.Now I am a living dead person.

The only suggestion i want to give  to Women is that

” If you can’t live with one, whom you love, please don’t love and spoil their life………….”

It’s really a heart touching Incident. When Vijay is narrating, I noticed tears rolling from his Eyes. Then I came to know How madly he loved her. I didn’t understood how that girl missed such a caring and true love person.

I request all the present generation men and women ” Please, for god sake don’t play with the emotions of individuals. All may not know how to handle their life in such situations.”

Please feel free to share your story and any lessons you learned, you experienced, you came across in your life,  in the comments below.

Leave to Live

Each minute of our life is a lesson but most of us fail to read it. I thought I would just add my daily lessons & the lessons that I learned by seeing the people around here. So it may be useful for you and as memories for me…….

“Smoking became fashion and addiction to the present generation teenagers. In the olden days only men used to smoke, but now women joined them. Smoking is can be simply defined as inhaling tobacco.Cigarettes, pipes and hookahs are the most popular methods of smoking and hence also the most injurious smoking elements for health. There are many reasons for doing so, the most common being cultural reasons or peer pressure.

This habit usually begins at school when boys/girls try to experiment with every new thing that they can lay their hands on.In the beginning, a teenager may take a few puffs from his friend’s cigarette; then comes a time when it becomes an indispensable part of his life. Several puffs lead to the formation of a habit. Soon smoking begins to affect the health of the smoker. He becomes a chain-smoker.

Smoking is THE most important cause of premature heart attacks, with India having about 4.5 crore patients with ischemic heart disease, doctors warned today. Despite the warnings given by doctors about the ill-effects of smoking, people continue to smoke. Smokers are addicted to it, and even if they want to, they cannot refrain from picking up a cigar or cigarette and puffing away.

According to the World Health Organization, tobacco use is one of the biggest public health threats worldwide which kills nearly six million people a year of whom about 600,000 are non-smokers exposed to second-hand smoke.

And the situation in India is very alarming as around 10 lakh deaths are caused by tobacco every year, with the WHO 2012 Global Report on Mortality claiming seven per cent of all deaths for people aged 30 and over in India are attributable to tobacco.

It is widely believed that tobacco use, especially smoking, causes chronic bronchitis and lung cancer, but many may not know that it is actually the most important cause of premature heart attacks.

Smoking does not only harm you but also people associated with you and people sitting around you because the smoke, which you take out from your mouth after smoking, will damage the environment badly. Not only that just think once about your family members what feelings will they be going through seeing you killing yourself day by day.

If you are a continuous smoker, the time has come for you to stop smoking and live a healthy wealthy and great life!

Tell Yourself Daily:

  • I will feel healthier and have more energy, whiter teeth, and fresher breath.
  • I will lower my risk for cancer, heart attacks, strokes, early death, cataracts, and skin wrinkling.
  • I will make myself and my partner, friends, and family proud of me.
  • I will no longer expose my children and others to the dangers of my second-hand smoke.
  • I will have a healthier baby (If you or your partner is pregnant).
  • I will have more money to spend.
  • I won’t have to worry: “When will I get to smoke next?”

Smoking can be stopped by a strong will power and every person has the capacity to give it up once he sets his mind at doing so.

Touching the Sky Without Arms

Each minute of our life is a lesson but most of us fail to read it. I thought I would just add my daily lessons & the lessons that I learned by seeing the people around here. So it may be useful for you and as memories for me…….

The lesson for today is…” Today morning when I am going through the mails in my Inbox, I found a mail about a girl called Jessica  Cox who was Armless. Even though Jessica was born without hands, she never used words like I Can’t, I may not  in her life”

I would like to present Jessica Cox  images which are really inspiring & motivating.

Jessica Cox (born 1983 in Arizona) is the world’s first licensed armless pilot , as well as the first armless black-belt  in the American Taekwondo Association. She was born without arms due to a rare birth defect.

Using her feet as most people use their hands, she is able, among other things, to drive a car to type on a  keyboard(25 words per minute), to pump her own gas, and to put in and remove her contact lenses.

“Disability is a matter of perception. If you can do just one thing well, you’re needed by someone.”

In my opinion The only disability in life is a bad attitude.

According to Jessica, being different physically from other people has taught her to be strong and persistent. And in an imperfect world where many people are dealing with their own handicaps — real or imagined — she wants to make a difference by helping them deal with their limitations.

Said Jessica: ?I want people to think, ?Hey, if she can do so much without arms, then I can do so much more with my life.??

She used to say anything is possible, if we have zeal to learn, determination and fire to do the things. She also says physical disabilities are not at all any barriers which can stop us to reach our goal.

Everyone should  learn from Jessica that inner strength, thinking out of the box is more than enough to overcome issues, solve problems in our life.

If Jessica, who is Armless achieved & reached to such a great heights, what about the people who are physical perfect, having everything that they need in life?

 Hats off Jessica.

My Work Experience with my Project Manager.

Each minute of our life is a lesson but most of us fail to read it. I thought I would just add my daily lessons & the lessons that I learned by seeing the people around here. So it may be useful for you and as memories for me…….

I would like to share working experience with my Project Manager. It’s for the first time in my Life working in a team under a Project Manager. Few months back I was assigned to a project called AIRecruiter which was lead by RajniKumar. He have got handful of experience working on different projects. On the first day i.e. on 04-Apr-2012 when I met him for the first time, I was bit scared to talk to him, because he was very experienced & senior. From my child hood i have habit to call everyone by their name, so i felt bit scared that he may think bad of me.

As the days progressed we started working as a team. Now he is the one with whom I share almost everything. Within the short span of our relationship, I noticed, learned a lot from him. Some of the qualities that inspired me are:

Very Communicative:

I was mainly impressed by the way Rajni communicates & coordinates with the Team members. He has the ability to communicate comfortably with people at all levels of the team & organization about the project. He conveys the message that he want to convey in clear & polite way. Basing on the requirement, he used to engage with different people in different ways in order to convey the message. One may need details while another prefers a brief overview.

Great Team Player:

Working in team is always a fun. Rajni is not only a good team player, he is also a great team coordinator. Whenever any team mate requires help, he used to stretch his hand to help them.

Assertive Nature Person:

Rajni is very straight forward. If he was not satisfied with our performance, he used to tell openly in a polite way. Always he used to give constructive feedback. If any of our team mates stuck with any issue, he used to guide them. When it comes to work, he never get compromised.

Selection of Resources:

Resources are important in order to complete any task. Rajni first identifies what to be done, later gathers the resources in order to accomplish the task. He interacts with individuals, to know their knowledge and experience, so that to use them in the correct areas for better results. He used to connect and converse with team members on a daily basis. He believe that once we have proper  rapport and trust that is the foundation of any relationship, people will want to collaborate with you to get the project done on time and within budget.

Clear Vision:

It is one of the assets of Rajni, having a clear Vision. He clearly knows what to do. It is very important that, every Project Manger & the members in the team should have a clear vision.

Cool Under Pressure:

In the present competitive world, projects should be delivered on time, under budget and with no major problems or obstacles to overcome. As everyone knows projects have problems. A leader with a hardy attitude will take these problems in stride. When leaders encounter a stressful event, they consider it interesting, they feel they can influence the outcome and they see it as an opportunity.

Time management is critical

Whenever there is some deliverable, Rajni used to stay in the office work with team. Even when no one is there he used to work till early mornings to complete the task.  As per my knowledge the project which I am working is a ONE man show.

As project managers, time management probably comes naturally. But, what do you do when your resources have been cut, and you’ve got twice as much to do? To really “do more with less,” you’ve got to become more productive. This nature I have seen in my Project Manager.

Strong Decision Maker:

In every project there are few crucial decisions which have to be taken on correct time.

If any decision has to be taken Rajni used to take the team mates opinion, if it’s fine used to implement it. He hasn’t got nature to take his own decisions as he like. Whatever decision he takes he used to present to team if they feel its fine used to implement it.

Decision-making is an integral part of project management. Yes, it is important to get the right people involved and get their opinions; however, you should always make the decision that is best for the project and the organization overall-even if it is not the most popular one. It is totally unrealistic for any project manager to expect one-hundred percent consensus.

Enjoy work:

The main quality that I like in Rajni is the way he see the problem or any task that has to be done. He never show disinterest towards work. This is one of the common qualities in both of us. I like Work N joyinG.

Friendly in Nature:

This single quality is enough to say, why do I admire Rajni? He never behaved like Project Manager with commanding nature. He used to treat everyone equally with friendly nature. What else can any member in a team can expect from their Project Manager.

Motivating Element:

I remember the day when we were given left & right by the client for not giving the Application Demo effectively. Unfortunately that day Rajni was not there. After he returned back, he told “In work environment all these are common; don’t feel bad, if we work together we can generate a Good Application”. What else we require to get charged up. We have Rajni motivating element for all of us, at any point of time.

If I start writing about him, it takes many pages. Simply I can say that In the early days of my professional career I fell into the hands of a Great Project Manager. It’s Honor to work with him.

Please feel free to share your story and any lessons you learned, you experienced, you came across in your life,  in the comments below.

Respect Their Hard Work.

Each minute of our life is a lesson but most of us fail to read it. I thought I would just add my daily lessons & the lessons that i learned by seeing the  people around here. So it may be useful for you and as memories for me…….

The lesson for today is…” On last Friday, I spoke to one of my friend named Susheel. She is one of my best collection. She was my team mate in the previous Organization . Few months back she resigned for her job. After that she struggled a lot, to get the job. She joined in different training Institutes to get job, but no result. One day she thought of giving up and going back to her home town. But i have hope on her, that she will get a job. With gods grace & her hard work recently she got job in Tata Business Solutions. She struggled a lot to get that job. I know how badly she worked to get that. She intimated her family members that she got job, they all were happy.

In the Last week she went to her home town. In the words she told that she is working in night shifts. Suddenly her father became angry and asked her to resign. She don’t want to hurt her father, so she told she will. She returned to Hyderabad. All her dreams , Hard work gone  in vain.”

One small advice to all the people like Susheel, No one knows how much you worked in your life to get a job or get into some position. It’s your responsibility to make the world know how hard you worked and try to protect your dreams & the Hard work that you done to achieve some thing. I am not complaining about parents, but the thing is they don’t know how much pain you took & how hard you worked you to get that job.

I request all the parents, please don’t kill the Dreams of your kids. It can be job, habits, likes, friends, Love, education anything, when ever you are asking your children to leave something, change some habit or stop doing anything, just give a thought about it. When you ask them to give up anything, they may follow your words, but you don’t know how much pain it gives to them.

Every children love and Respect their parents. They love us than anything else, but few don’t know how to show their affection & love.

In the same way we have to respect our children’s Wishes, Dreams, Interests everything. If they are not good guide them, but don’t try to restrict them forcefully, because they are just kids, our kids.

It’s our responsibility to protect the Dreams of our children.

Life is a lesson

Each minute of our life is a lesson but most of us fail to read it. I thought I would just add my daily lessons & the lessons that i learned by seeing the  people around here. So it may be useful for you and as memories for me…….

The lesson for today is…”When you realize that you did a mistake or some one else has done a mistake and it directly or indirectly effects you, correct it or take neccasary actions then and there…Its too late than never…”

If you fail to correct it immediately, when its just a seed, it grows in front of your eyes as a big tree. Its almost like there is no way you can rectify it later rather than bear the pain and humiliation caused by the mistake.

Some mistakes are small…some of them are fatal, they make marks in your life in such a way you can never forget it forever.

Be wise..!!

Software Testing is a Challenging Profession

Be Proud to be a Tester.  Be proud to be a Passionate tester. We are no way less to others, till we do our duty properly. We all are here by choice, not by chance or by any compulsions.

Think positive. Start testing the application by intend of finding bugs/errors. Don’t think beforehand that there will not be any bugs in the application. If you test the application by intention of finding bugs you will definitely succeed to find those  subtle bugs  also.

Software testing is fun, enjoy it – Stay calm, be focused, follow all processes and enjoy testing. See how interesting software testing is. I must say it’s addictive for some people.

We feel very proud if we can find bugs in the application developed by development team.

Get involved from the beginning – It is an advice to all the testers, to participate in all the activities regarding application development. Ask your lead or manager to get you involved in design discussions/meetings from the beginning. This is more applicable for small teams without QA lead or manager. It is a good sign that you are very sincere & interested to work.

Make sure you get noticed at work – Sometimes your lead may not present the true picture of you to your manager or company management. In such cases you should continuously watch the moments where you can show your performance to top management.

Try to elevate yourself by participating in meetings & client calls.

Keep notes on everything – Keep notes of daily new things learned on the project. This could be just simple commands to be executed for certain task to complete or complex testing steps, so that you don’t need to ask same things again and again to fellow testers or developers.

Continuous learning – Never stop learning. Explore better ways to test application. Learn new automation tools like Selenium, QTP or any performance testing tool. Nowadays performance testing is the hot career destination for software testers! Have this skill under your belt.

Go beyond requirement testing. Test application for what it is not supposed to do. You task is not simply testing;

If possible identify the different ways to design application or even a particular page. Give work to your creative mind.

Keep developers away from test environment. This is required step to detect any configuration changes missing in release or deployment document. Sometimes developers do some system or application configuration changes but forget to mention those in deployment steps. If developers don’t have access to testing environment they will not do any such changes accidentally on test environment and these missing things can be captured at the right place?

360 degree testing approach – To hunt down software defects think from all perspectives. Find all possible information related to the application under test apart from your SRS documents. Use this information to understand the project completely and apply this knowledge while testing.

Learn to analyze your test results thoroughly. Do not ignore the test result. The final test result may be ‘pass’ or ‘fail’ but troubleshooting the root cause of ‘fail’ will lead you to the solution of the problem. Testers will be respected if they not only log the bugs but also provide solutions.

Learn to maximize the test coverage  every time you test any application. Though 100 percent test coverage might not be possible still you can always try to reach near it.

Admit mistakes but be confident about whatever tasks you did – Avoid doing the same mistake again. This is the best method to learn and adapt to new things.

Try to automate daily routine tasks – Save time and energy by automating daily routine task no matter how small those tasks are.

E.g. If you deploy daily projectbuilds manually, write a batch script to perform the task in one click.

While writing test cases, write test cases for intended functionality first i.e. for valid conditions according to requirements.

Then write test cases for invalid conditions. This will cover expected as well unexpected behavior of application under test.

Testing teams should share best testing practices, experience with other teams in their organization.

Increasing conversation with developers we can get know a lot about the product and we can understand the requirement in-depth which in turn will helps in finding more defects.

Written & Oral communication – It is very much essential for the Testers. In order to author the test cases properly one should have writing skills & to attend the client calls or gather requirements, oral communication is very much essential.

Write clear, descriptive, unambiguous bug report. Do not only provide the bug symptoms but also provide the effect of the bug and all possible solutions.

Don’t forget testing is a creative and challenging task.

Exploration is important Keep on reading books, white papers, case studies related to software testing. Never be idle. If you time, just go through some testing related sites and gather the useful information.

It depends on Individuals skill and experience, how they handle this challenging Testing Profession.

A Mother’s Sacrifice

Each minute of our life is a lesson but most of us fail to read it. I thought I would just add my daily lessons & the lessons that I learned by seeing the people around here. So it may be useful for you and as memories for me…….

The article was written by Munna….

Mothers are the best gift that has given to us by god. Having them is such a thankful and splendid treasure in our life.
It is said that behind every successful man there is a woman. That may not necessarily be true; however it is true that behind every confident child there is an encouraging mother. Day after day in our impressionable years our mothers either build us up, or tear us down. A child who has a mother who is set on encouraging her/him is a child that starts off with an advantage. Our mothers may not be rich enough to leave us a financial legacy when they go, but a mother who sows encouragement into her child’s heart gives the greatest legacy of all.
Mom…You have always been a source of inspiration to me when it comes to hard work and not giving up. I have been lazy and dad has been lazy in his own ways, but you never gave up on us to get things done…I always love you for that…
They are the one who stay when we get hurt, when we are down, when we are sad, when we are harmed.
They were the first person in this world to become happy, when we are on top; we are triumphant, when we achieved something and when we are blessed.
In there so many ways, mothers have cherished their children so much that they even cherished more than their lives.
They cared for us as if we are a golden treasure that they need to protect us from harmful humans and incidents.
They always pray for the goodness of our life in this world and what comes after.
They spent time to take good care of us. In the middle of the night, where everybody was fall asleep, our mothers remain awake to check what we need
. They often had a sleepless night to feed us, check our diapers and sometimes we defecated in their very lap. They sang a song to us.
She put her strength all together for us, and being a weak human being in physical, she could still manage to do a lot of hard works for their children.
They were our first teacher to write and read.

Who could be better than them to take care of us, care for us, pray for us and be there for us? There are so many people who never accompanied their mother had a very sad experience.
They were so much jealous to the people who are still living under the caring of their mother. Nobody cared for them with real care.
These were just among from the few sacrifices of our mother. You cannot count every deed they made to let us live better. Before birth, their body was in pain to carry us in their wombs for about 9 months.

They vomited their foods, they suffered headaches, they felt something strange and weakness of their body every morning. But because they are a mother, they paid no complain against these.

They were pretty much excited to see us, to give birth to us. They even talk to us even they could not see us, just massaging their wombs. The wished for the best for us, they hoped for the excellence of our life.
They are doing all these sacrifices wholeheartedly without waiting for something in return. This is priceless care, a blessed care and a gift to us.
If there is someone that we owe our life to, it is our mother.
We could not give her back her sacrifices but we could make her happy.
We should not treat her bad, disobey her will and defy her. Aside from materials, we need to show them our love to them every day. We do not have a right to say bad things about them and hurt them.
Mother you were so kind to me, cared for me, suckled me, I wish I could make you happier each day. I will always love you and pray that I could be more like you.
I still remember the day(s)…
  •      When you would leave me off at School and wave me off bye and return home to finish off all your work at home. And, yet promptly come back to school even in the mid day sun or cold rain carrying my lunch box with a king like lunch. I still remember no other kid enjoyed this privilege; it was just me. Those days made me understand the value of commitment, love and care.
  • When you would get me ready for the school outing with friends and get me packed with Chapatti. Dad would help you make for me on those special days. I understood that even small things in life mattered a lot.
  •    When you found me having a rubber of my friend which I carried home willingly, got so angry thinking I had stole it from him – you made me return it back to him the next day with a sorry. That day I understood the value of morals.
  •  When you would come to collect the report card and mark sheets from Springfield at the times when dad was busy on Parents Teachers day meet – though you knew I was an average performer you had a smile on your face as if I was the best among everyone in the class. That day I understood the value of motivation.
  • When you always protected me and did not give up on me when others boasted about their sons/daughters in the friends and relatives circle. Those days made me understand that no matter what keeping up the respect of your son played its role in building him to a better person in the future.
  • When you always yelled at me and scolded me for not doing some things or not helping you on house hold errands – I understood the value of perfection and getting things done immediately.
  • When you took me to temple, and socialized with people on the way – I understood the value of networking and socializing not just with humans but also with god .
  •  When I get back home tired with a lot of cribbing about school and office, there was always something surprisingly delicious waiting for me which made me forget all negativity – I understood you knew me in and out.
  •   When you gave me all the comforts at home in the weekends – I felt so pampered like a small kid.
  •  When you always considered me one step ahead of everyone in the family – I understood I am special to you as always.
  • When I missed you and dad so much when I came to Hyderabad – I understood my world was around you both.
  • When you saved penny by penny out of household expenses, and when they turned out to a big sum – I understood saving is an integral part of every one’s life.
All this while, all  these things has partly made me what I am now. I am proud to say that I learned all these from you. I know I am miles away from you now, but  Whenever I think of you, Mother, Whatever the time or the place, I picture a moment of childhood and a smile spreads over my face.
I feel myself being encouraged in all I am trying to do. I remember the pride you expressed whenever i do a little good. To you I was never a loser. I know I am miles away from you now. But, I will never forget what you are giving me and you have made me special in your own ways. I am what I am because of you and dad. You never left hopes on me, your belief and trust made me achieve all what I have now. I thank you for all your unconditional love, care, and numerous uncountable things you have given me in life.I wish you all health, happiness and comfort forever. Please never leave me mom.
Please feel free to share your opinion, your relation, attachment with your father in your words  in the comments below.

Project Management System

Image

In the present Software World, Project problems are frequently caused by ineffective project management. As the result projects are late, project costs exceed expected values; organization has problems with clients, stakeholders, and personnel motivation.

Project Management helps to solve these problems. It is a set of processes, tools, and templates used to effectively plan and manages project work.

Although identified as distinct processes, in practice, the processes overlap and interrelate. Some processes are iterative; repeated and revised throughout the life of a project. Seasoned project managers acknowledge there are many ways to manage a project. As organizations evolve in maturity level, PMs will be better equipped to determine which processes to utilize and how rigorously to apply these processes to deliver the project.

The particular SDLC depends upon agency standards and the type of project undertaken.  Although terminology can differ, the Project Management and System Development Life Cycle methodologies can be easily integrated.

Advantages of PMS:

The advantages of establishing sound project management practices are:

  1. Improves overall project performance
  2. Increases projects delivered on-time and within budget
  3. Reduces project risk
  4. Enhances quality
  5. Improves inter and intra-project communication
  6. Establishes a consistent standard that everyone can follow
  7. Utilities a common project management terminology

Good project management requires:

n  Defining measurable and achievable goals that shall be met in the specified time period.

n  Defining proper project success criteria that will motivate project personnel to achieve organizational business goals,

n  Application of project management software that helps to plan, to analyze, and to control project execution,

n  Implementation of the organizational structures that support project management processes,

n  Implementation of the project participant’s award and recognition system that motivates project teams to achieve project goals.

1. Origination Stage:

Purpose

The Origination Stage is a set of agency specific processes. The purpose of this stage is to identify Secretariat and agency priorities and align these priorities with the Commonwealth’s strategic direction so that resources can be targeted at strategically important initiatives. The specific templates used in this process will vary based upon the agency project prioritization and selection processes.

1.1 Inputs

  • Commonwealth’s strategic priorities
  • Secretariat and Agency priorities
  • Feasibility Studies
  • Potential funding sources
  • Project prioritization and selection processes

1.2 Outputs

  • Project justifications in Agency specific format (e.g. Business Case, Cost/Benefit Analysis)
  • Complexity Matrix
  • Approved and funded projects
  • Origination Stage Checklist

2. Initiation Stage:

Purpose

The goal of this stage is to verify project needs and feasibility.  The project manager, in conjunction with the sponsor and key stakeholders specify:  goals, objectives, and critical success factors.  Funding sources are confirmed. Formal approval to proceed with the project, as defined in the Charter, is secured.

2.1 Inputs

  • Authorized projects with funding
  • Project Manager assigned
  • Project documents created during Origination Stage (e.g. Cost-Benefit Analysis)
  • Consultations with subject matter experts and sponsor
  • Governance Guidelines

  • Approved Charter and authorization to apply Commonwealth’s resources
  • Project Tracking Log (Action Items, Issues, Risks, Dependencies and Key Decisions)
  • Repository Setup
  • Initiation Stage Exit Checklist

3. Planning:

Purpose

This stage establishes the framework for the project so the work can begin.  Information is assembled into the scope statement and plans from numerous sources, each with varying degrees of confidence.  Activities and resources are arranged to deliver the product and/or service and task ownership is assigned and communicated.

Planning is highly iterative and involves key team members and stakeholders. Each iteration produces increasingly more precise and reliable project management information.  Although the graphic below depicts a suggested workflow, the project manager will determine the most appropriate sequence of activities given the nature of the project.

Time invested during this stage to develop the structure to organize and manage project activities significantly improves performance during the Execution and Control Stage.

3.1 Inputs

  • Project Tracking Log (Action Items, Issues, Risks, Dependencies and Key Decisions)

How to Avoid Being a Workaholic

Working too much is likely to decrease your productivity, leave you creatively drained, and negatively affect relationships with friends and family. Don’t get me wrong, pursuing your passion is a beautiful gift and there is nothing wrong with working hard on projects you love. However, it’s essential to take breaks. Whether you’re working from home or in an office environment it’s essential to nourish your creative spirit.

Workholism is not strength, but it’s a weakness which ruins our life. We hear stories of people who “burn the mid-night oil” at the office, or about individuals who never take vacations. Working a lot doesn’t mean you deserve a gold star.

Below are a few creative ways to avoid becoming a workaholic.

Know what you want to do & what you are doing.  It’s very much important to know what you want to do & what you are doing. Many people do lot of work by taking lot of pain & struggle, but at the end they will end up somewhere away from their goal.

Every individual need Self Introspection. You are the best person to judge yourself. If you don’t know where you are going, you will end up somewhere.

At the end of each day spend few minutes, to recall the things that you done on that particular day. Every day we have to learn new thing which is useful.

Set clear boundaries.

Make sure your working hours are consistent. For instance, if you work from 9 am to 6 pm make sure you leave the office by 6. Don’t stay late.

Constantly question your goals and life purpose.

It’s important to continually reevaluate your goals, life purpose and behaviors. For example if you constantly stay late at the office, sacrifice personal relationships because of work, or check your email obsessively, ask yourself:

  • Why am I doing this?
  • What is the end goal?
  • Are my behaviors healthy?

Get enough sleep! Staying up late to work on a project and then getting up at 5 am to go into the office is not a good strategy. Lack of creativity, diminished morale and irritability are a few traits of people who go without sleep. Work smarter, not harder.

Spend time in nature. Spending time in nature is a great way reduce stress, disconnect from everyday worries and incoming work messages. Set aside time in your daily life to go outside. For instance, take a half hour walk everyday and be mindful of your surroundings. There is no need to rush. Take your time, try to understand your instinctual feelings and observe the natural beauty in your neighborhood.

Find a hobby. Cultivate a hobby; preferably something that doesn’t relate to your day job. Start by brainstorming your interests. For example, you can start running, walking, knitting, reading novels, or writing. A hobby should be something that brings you joy; something you can lose yourself in and find your flow.

Listen to your body. If you are working too much you will start feeling tired, cranky and apathetic. All of these symptoms are a sign that you need to slow down. It’s essential to listen to your body. When you listen to your body, you’ll know when you’re sick or just need some extra rest.

Unplug from the internet. Getting work done doesn’t require an internet connection. It’s amazing what can happen when you step out from behind the computer screen or your mobile device. Most of my killer ideas come to me when I’m taking a shower, on a walk, cooking a meal, and “not working.”Everyone is creative and ideas can come to you at odd moments. Just because you have an idea doesn’t mean you have to implement it right away. Keep a journal with you at all times so that you can capture your idea and enjoy your down time.

Make time for friends, family and your partner. If you’re working too much, you’re probably sacrificing time with friends, family and your life partner. Doing work you love is extremely important, but so are the people who love you. Consider how you spend your time and what is truly important in life. When you are with your family, friends and life partner, really be there. Make an effort to be present. For instance, if you’re having a conversation with a friend listens to what they are saying. Be engaged and ask questions.

Eat real food. A side effect of working too much is eating out more and not eating real food. Real food includes fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Before you head out to the office, take time the night before or early in the morning to prepare a healthy breakfast and lunch.

Most importantly, don’t eat while you’re working. Savor your food and enjoy every bite. Studies have shown that if you eat food quickly, you’re more likely to over eat and gain weight.

Reach out to others with a good work-life balance. If you think you’re a workaholic, reach out to others. Connect with friends, family, and consider therapy as an option. If you think this is negatively impacting your life, do something about the problem. We only get one life. So live it well and take care of yourself.

Roles & Responsibilities of Software Tester

Software Testing is more than finding the bugs. It can be stated as Set of activities which are performed to check whether the application is designed, developed & working as per the customer requirements or not?

Purpose of Software Testing:

Software testing can be defined as the process of validating and verifying that a software product. Testing is conducted to check whether;

1)      Application is designed as per customer requirements.

2)      Working as per the customer requirements.

3)      Any bugs exist in the application.

Facts about Software Testing:

  • Testing is not done to provide the Quality. It is conducted to find the bugs.
  • Through testing we can’t get 100% bug free product, it’s not possible all the time.
  • Testing is all about checking all possible conditions i.e.  valid & in valid conditions.
  • In order to test any application one should know application flow.
  • Minimum Data Base knowledge is required to understand how data flow is happening between front-end & back-end application.
  • Testers should not test the application from developers view, should test application from customers view.

Roles & Responsibilities of Testers in a Project:

  • Understanding Application related Documents:

It is very much important to get clear idea on the application i.e. need of the application, work flow of the application and also should go through the requirements documents & should review them

  • Assist with preparation of test plan:

Testing process start with the preparation of Test Plan. Test plan is a document which includes introduction, assumptions, list of test cases, list of features to be tested, approach, deliverables, resources, risks and scheduling. It will be prepared by the Lead. As a tester it’s your responsibility to take part in the preparation of Test Plan.

  • Preparation of Test Cases:

Before preparing the test cases it’s very necessary to have an idea on the application work flow. The basic objective of writing test cases is to validate the testing coverage of the application. Every organization has their own test case formats.

There is no assurance that, the person who authored test cases will execute them. So while preparing the test cases see that they simple, easy to understand & all the steps were in proper sequence, so that it will easy for the executioners to execute them.

  • Preparation of test scripts:

If it’s necessary to automate the application, if organization accepts & if client is ready, basing on the requirement we can automate the application.

Preparation of test scripts is very crucial in the Automation process. For generating the scripts programming i.e. coding knowledge is required.

  • Preparation of Test Data:

Test Data is the data which is used to test the application. Test Data may be provided by the client or if it’s necessary we have to prepare the Test Data. During the execution of test cases, we use test data and test the application. Basing on the test data the coverage of testing will depend.

There are different mechanisms which are used in preparation of the test data:

1)      Boundary Value Analysis.

2)      Equivalence Class Partition.

3)      Error Guessing

  • Execution of Test Cases:

Executing the test cases is one of the important phases in Testing. Execution is nothing but running the cases on the application. The Test cases should be executed in the manner specified. If there is no time to execute all the Test Cases, we have to execute the High Priority test cases first & then if the time permits others.

  • Defect Tracking:  It is the process of finding defects in a product or in Software. The defects found during the process of testing should be tracked. The defects are entered into Bug tracking tool for better maintenance.

Bugs can be detected through;

1)      Smoke Testing.

2)      Test Cases Execution.

3)      Adhoc Testing.

4)      Regression Testing.

5)      Priority Based Testing.

6)      Exploratory Testing.

  • Retest fixed defects:

Once if the development team fixes the bug, we have to retest the application or that particular functionality.

  • Attending Client Calls & Team Meetings:

It is very much important to attend the client calls or scrum calls. If we have any issues regarding requirements, validations etc, we can directly interact with the client and can get resolved. Team meetings are very important because, we can know what’s happening within the team & how tasks are being done, status of the application, any enhancements etc. If we have better ideas to develop the application we can share with the development team.

  • Status Report:

It is a good practice to maintain Work Sheet. During the time of reviews it will be very much useful & also we can make self analysis of the tasks that we have completed and tasks that are pending. In few organizations it is mandatory, to update status report daily.

  • Assist the team members:

If it’s necessary & if it’s possible assist your team mates, in order to complete their duties.

  • Be a Good Team Player:

Whether you are developer or tester it is very much important to have rapport with the members in the team.

How to Live Well with Little.

‘Begin at once to live, and count each separate day as a separate life.’

Each day is colorful. It depends on the individual how he makes use of every moment of his life.

I’m not a rich man, nor am I a person having luxurious life.

And yet, I’m very happy.

The truth is, everyone can be happy. You don’t need a lot to live well — you just need the right mindset.

Here’s what I’ve learned about living well on little:

1.       You should know what you are & what you want in life:  It’s very important in life to know about yourself. In order to be happy, you should know what you want and should try to achieve it, with fire and passion.

2.      Have Proper Attitude: It is very much necessary to have good attitude in order to succeed in life. Without that there is no life. Attitudes are innate feelings of individual’s like or dislike about an issue, topic or behavior that in our life or in our professional career determine decisively who are we, and that may be consciously encouraged, strongly improved and better expressed as a result of our education, professional career and guidance from relatives, friends and mentors. Although attitudes may be classified as positive, neutral or negative according to their effects over our sociability.

3.      Never Complain:  Ever complain about anything or anyone in the life. Many people have habit to complain about each and everything whenever they fail. If you fail you are responsible for it.

“Whenever you try you should try alone, if you succeed the whole world succeeds with you”

4. You need very little to be happy. In order to be happy you need small things like some simple plant food, modest shelter, a couple changes of clothes, a good book, a notebook, some meaningful work, and some loved ones.

5. Live Below Your Means: There will always be temptation to forsake the future for immediate gratification. We all want to buy that new piece of technology, treat ourselves to an expensive night on the town, or take out a loan for the flashy car we can’t afford. It might feel great at the time but rash spending hurts a lot later on.

6. Enjoy life’s simple pleasures and save as much as you can. Expensive things don’t create lasting happiness and security. Careful spending will bring you greater leisure and enjoyment in the long run.

7. Want little, and you are not poor. You can have a lot of money and possessions, but if you always want more, you are poorer than the guy who has little and wants nothing

8. Develop Lasting Personal Relationships: Suppose you had everything you wanted. Would you be happy without anyone to share it with? The personal relationships we develop with friends and family members are the greatest source of happiness in our lives. Don’t forget about them.

Taking the time to cultivate and enjoy personal relationships is essential to long term happiness. Without the relationship there is no life.

9. Focus on the present. Stop worrying about the future and holding onto the past. How much of your day is spent thinking about things other than where you are and what you’re doing, physically, at this moment? How often are we living as opposed to stuck thinking about other things? Live now and you live fully.

10. Be happy with what you have and where you are. Too often we want to be somewhere else, doing something else, with other people than whomever we’re with right now, getting things other than what we already have. But where we are is great! Who we’re with (including just ourselves) is already perfect. What we have is enough. What we’re doing already is amazing.

11. Be grateful for the small pleasures in life.Berries, a square of dark chocolate, tea — simple pleasures that are so much better than rich desserts, sugary drinks, fried foods if you learn to enjoy them fully. A good book borrowed from the library, a walk with a loved one in the park, the fine exertion of a short hard workout, the crazy things your child says, the smile of a stranger, walking barefoot on grass, a moment of quiet as the morning wakens and the world still rests. These little pleasures are living well, without needing much.

12. Be driven by joy and not fear. People are driven by the fear of missing out, or the fear of change, or the fear of losing something. These are not good reasons to do things. Instead, do things because they give you or others joy? Let your work be driven not because you need to support a lifestyle and are afraid of changing it, but by the joy of doing something creative, meaningful, valuable.

13. Practice compassion. Compassion for others creates loving, rewarding relationships.

Compassion for yourself means forgiving yourself for past mistakes, treating yourself well (including eating well and exercising), loving yourself as you are.

14. Forget about productivity and numbers. They matter not at all. If you are driven to do things to reach certain numbers (goals), you have probably lost sight of what’s important. If you are striving to be productive, you are filling your days with things just to be productive, which is a waste of a day. This day is a gift, and shouldn’t be crammed with every possible thing — spend time enjoying it and what you’re doing.

Please feel free to share your story and any lessons you learned, you experienced, you came across in your life,  in the comments below.

Approach for System Testing

Approach for System Testing

System testing of software is a testing process which is conducted on a complete, integrated system to evaluate the system’s compliance with its specified requirements whereas Functional testing is testing each and every functionality of the application individually.

System testing is testing the application as a whole, without leaving even a single object. This type of testing involves testing of the functionality, performance, security; user interfaces etc, System testing falls under black box testing. It doesn’t require the programming knowledge. In system testing software test professional aims to detect bugs, both within the interfaces and also within the software as a whole. However, during the integration testing of the application the software test professional aims to detect the bugs / defects between the individual units that are integrated together.

During the development developers perform the unit testing. After the integration of all components of the software being developed, the whole software system is rigorously tested to ensure that it meets the specified business, functional & non-functional requirements. System Testing is done after the unit testing and integration testing are completed. In many organizations there are separate and dedicated teams for performing System Testing.
Why system testing is Important?

System Testing is a crucial step in Quality Management Process.

1)   The System Testing enables us to test, verify and validate both the Business requirements as well as the Application Architecture matches.

2)   The System is tested to verify if it meets the functional and technical .requirements.
3)   The application/System is tested in an environment that closely resembles the production environment where the application will be finally deployed

Pre Requisites for System Testing:

The prerequisites for System Testing are:
A)  All the Individual components should have been successfully Unit Tested.
B) All the components must have been integrated and Integration .Testing should be completed.
C) Test environment should be ready to carry out testing process.

Steps needed to do System Testing:

The following steps are important to perform System Testing:
1: Create a Test Plan
2: Create Test Cases
3: Identification of test data for system testing.

4: Create Scripts if necessary

– Build environment and
– to automate Execution of test cases
5: Execute the test cases
6: Fix the bugs if there are any and perform regression testing

7: Repeat the test cycle.

What is a ‘System Test Plan’?

Test plan is a document which includes introduction, assumptions, list of test cases, list of features to be tested, approach, deliverable s, resources, risks and scheduling.

The contents of a software system test plan may vary from organization to organization or project to project. It depends how we have created the software test strategy, project plan and master test plan of the project. However, the basic contents of a software system test plan should be:

– Scope
– Goals & Objective
– Area of focus (Critical areas)
– Deliverable s
– System testing strategy
– Schedule
– Entry and exit criteria
– Suspension & resumption criteria for software testing
– Test Environment
– Assumptions
– Staffing and Training Plan
– Roles and Responsibilities
– Glossary

How to write system test cases: The basic objective of writing test cases is to validate the testing coverage of the application. The system test cases are written in a similar way as we write functional test cases. However, while creating system test cases following points needs to be kept in mind:

They cover all the use cases and scenarios

– The Test cases were prepared as per the technical Requirements and Specifications.
– The Test cases validate the technical Requirements and Specifications
– The Test cases verify if the application/System meets the Business & Functional Requirements specified
– The Test cases may also verify if the System meets the performance standards

There is no assurance that, the person who authored test cases will execute them. So while preparing the test cases see that they simple, easy to understand & all the steps were in proper sequence, so that it will easy for the executioners to execute them.

The Test Case Template format: Every organization has their Test Case Template. The format varies from one organization to other.

  • Test Case Name
  • Steps to Execute – Steps to follow for execution of the test case
  • Expected Result
  • Status
  • Defect Id.
  • Severity
  • Comments.

Steps for Effective System Testing:

There are various factors that affect the success of System Testing:

1) Test Coverage:   Test Coverage means the test cases that were designed & then executed should cover all the requirements, Functionalities as per the use cases, Business Requirements, Technical Requirements, and Performance Requirements. System Testing will be effective only to the extent of the coverage of Test Cases. Adequate Test coverage implies the scenarios covered by the test cases are sufficient. The Test cases should “cover” all scenarios.

2) Test Execution:   Executing the test cases is one of the important phases in STLC. The Test cases should be executed in the manner specified. If there is no time to execute all the Test Cases, we have to execute the High Priority test cases first & then if the time permits others.

3) Defect Tracking:  It is the process of finding defects in a product or in Software. The defects found during the process of testing should be tracked.

4) Build Process Automation: A Lot of errors occur due to an improper build. ‘Build’ is a compilation of the various components that make the application deployed in the appropriate environment. The Test results will not be accurate if the application is not ‘built’ correctly or if the environment is not set up as specified. Automating this process may help reduce manual errors.

5) Test Automation: Automating the Test process could help us in many ways:

a. The test can be repeated with fewer errors of omission or oversight

b. Some scenarios can be simulated if the tests are automated for instance
simulating a large number of users or simulating increasing large amounts
of input/output data

6) Documentation: Proper Documentation is very much necessary. It helps us to keep track of No.of test cases executed, bugs raised, etc. It provides clear picture about the tasks that were done & to be done.  It also helps create a knowledge base for current and future projects..

Lessons I Learnt from my Life

I’ve been on this earth for nearly two and half decades. I haven’t celebrated any of my birthdays. There is nothing much to celebrate, but there is lot to feel bad because years are passing like seconds. I thought I’d share a handful of lessons I’ve learned as a helpful guide for those just starting out.

This post is for my next generations all over the world, whom I miss greatly.

The 26 Lessons I’ve learned in my 26 Years of Life’s Journey…

  1. Life is really valuable; make use of every moment learning new & useful things.
2. Possessions are worse than worthless — they’re harmful. They add no value to your life,
and cost you everything. Not just the money required buying them, but the time and money spent shopping for them, maintaining them, worrying about them, insuring them, fixing them, etc.

3. Goals aren’t as important as we think. Try working without them for a week. Turns out, you can do amazing things without goals. And you don’t have to manage them, cutting out on some of the bureaucracy of your life. You’re less stressed without goals, and you’re freer to choose paths you couldn’t have foreseen without them.

4. Always swallow your pride to say you’re sorry. Being too proud to apologize is never worth it -your relationship suffers for no good benefit.

5. Slow down. Rushing is rarely worth it. Life is better enjoyed at a leisurely pace.

6. Fear will try to stop you. Doubts will try to stop you. You’ll shy away from doing great things, from going on new adventures, from creating something new and putting it out in the world, because of self-doubt and fear. It will happen in the recesses of your mind, where you don’t even know it’s happening.

Become aware of these doubts and fears. Shine some light on them. Beat them with a thousand tiny cuts. Do it anyway, because they are wrong.

 7. When your beloved ones ask for your attention, always grant it. Give them your full attention, and instead of being annoyed at the interruption, be grateful for the reminder to spend time with someone you love.

8. Don’t go into debt. That includes credit card debt, student debt, home debt, personal loans, and auto loans. We think they’re necessary but they’re not, at all. They cause more headaches than they’re worth, they can ruin lives, and they cost us way more than we get. Spend less than you earn, go without until you have the money.

9. Life is exceedingly brief. You might feel like there’s a huge mass of time ahead of you, but it passes much faster than you think. Your kids grow up so fast you get whiplash.

You get gray hairs before you’re done getting your bearings on life. Appreciate every damn moment.

10. If you find yourself swimming with all the other fish, go the other way. They don’t know where they’re going either.

Be different to be Irreplaceable in the world.

11. Mistakes are the best way to learn. Don’t be afraid to make them. Try not to repeat the same ones too often.

12.Failures are the stepping stones to success. Without failure, we’ll never learn how to succeed. So try to fail, instead of trying to avoid failure through fear.

13. Rest is more important than you think. People work too hard, forgets to rest, and then begin to hate their jobs.

People who try to do too much because they don’t know that rest is where their body gets stronger, after the stress.

 14. There are few joys that equal a good book, a good walk, a good hug, good thoughts, good health, or a good friend. All are free.

15. The destination is just a tiny slice of the journey. We’re so worried about goals, about our future, that we miss all the great things along the way.

If you’re fixated on the goal, on the end, you won’t enjoy it when you get there. You’ll be worried about the next goal, the next destination.

16. A good walk cures most problems. Want to lose weight and get fit? Walk.

Want to enjoy life but spend less? Walk. Want to cure stress and clear your head? Walk.

Want to meditate and live in the moment? Walk. Having trouble with a life or work problem? Walk and your head get clear.

17. Giving is so much better than getting. Give with no expectation of getting something in return, and it becomes a purer, more beautiful act.

Too often we give something and expect to get an equal measure in return — at least get some gratitude or recognition for our efforts. Try to let go of that need, and just give.

18. Competition is very rarely as useful as cooperation. Our society is geared toward competition — rips each other’s throats out, survival of the fittest.

But humans are meant to work together for the survival of the tribe, and cooperation pools our resources and allows everyone to contribute what they can.

It requires a whole other set of people skills to work cooperatively, but its well worth the effort.

19. Gratitude is one of the best ways to find contentment. We are often discontent in our lives, desire more, because we don’t realize how much we have.

Instead of focusing on what you don’t have, be grateful for the amazing gifts you’ve been given: of loved ones and simple pleasures, of health and sight and the gift of music and books, of nature and beauty and the ability to create, and everything in between. Be grateful every day.

20. Compassion for other living things is more important than pleasure. Many people scoff at vegetarianism because they love the taste of meat and cheese too much, but they are putting the pleasure of their taste buds ahead of the suffering of other living, feeling beings.

You can be perfectly healthy on a vegetarian (even vegan) diet, so killing and torturing animals is absolutely unnecessary.

Compassion is a much more fulfilling way to live than closing your eyes to suffering.

21. Taste buds change. I thought I could never give up chicken, but by doing it slowly, I never missed it. I thought I could never give up junk food like sweets, fried crap all kinds of unhealthy things … and yet today I would rather eat some fresh berries or raw nuts. Weird, but it’s amazing how much our taste buds can change.

22. Love comes in many flavors. I love my parents; completely and more than I can ever fully understand. I love them each in a different way, and know that each is perfect in his or her own way.

23. Use the magic of compound interest. Invest early, and it will grow. Live on little, don’t get into debt, save all you can, and invest it in mutual funds. Watch your money grow.

24. All we are taught in schools, and all we see in the media (news, films, books, magazines, Internet) has a worldview that we’re meant to conform to.

Figure out what that worldview is, and question it. Ask if there are alternatives, and investigate.

25. Learn the art of empathy. Too often we judge people on too little information.

We must try to understand what they do instead, put ourselves in their shoes, and start with the assumption that what others do has a good reason if we understand what they’re going through. Life becomes much better if you learn this art.

26. Do less. Most people try to do too much. They fill life with checklists, and try to crank out tasks as if they were widget machines.

Throw out the checklists and just figure out what’s important. Stop being a machine and focus on what you love. Do it lovingly.

Please feel free to share your story and any lessons you learned, you experienced, you came across in your life,  in the comments below.

Managing Stress

In our Day- to-day life we,  many times hear about the word called “Stress”. What is Stress?

Stress is a feeling that’s created when we react to particular events. It’s the body’s way of rising to a challenge and preparing to meet a tough situation with focus, strength, stamina, and heightened alertness. We all have stress sometimes.

The events that provoke stress are called stressors, and they cover a whole range of situations — everything from outright physical danger to making a class presentation or taking a semester’s worth of your toughest subject. For some people, it happens before having to speak in public. For other people, it might be before a first date. What causes stress for you may not be stressful for someone else. Sometimes stress is helpful – it can encourage you to meet a deadline or get things done. But long-term stress can increase the risk of diseases like depression, heart disease and a variety of other problems.

I don’t believe that a stress-free life is possible. Stress is a response to challenges in life, and a life without challenges is too boring to contemplate. However, I do believe that most of the stress in our lives is unnecessary, and that it can be eliminated by taking some simple (and some not-so-simple) steps. It can’t be accomplished overnight — I’ve been eliminating stressors in my life for awhile now, and I’m still not done. But I think it’s a worthwhile goal.

But these sources of stress can be eliminated with a little thought. Here’s how:

Self Introspection is needed. It is nothing but the self-examination of one’s thoughts, feelings, approach etc. You can identify your strengths & weaknesses. Try to overcome your weakness or avoid such situations, because they are the main cause for stress.

Simplify life. Simplify your life i.e. Simplify your tasks, your routines, your commitments, your life-style, your information intake, your relationships, the mass of stuff going on in your life … and have less stress as a result.

Identify stressors. It is the most important step of all. Take 10 minutes to think about what stress you out during the day. What weekly occurrences stress you out? What people, activities, things cause stress in your life? Make a Top 10 list, and see which of them can be eliminated, and start to weed them out.

Slow down. Life is not a race, to compete with others. Instead of rushing through life, learn to take things slow . Enjoy each & every part of your life. Enjoy your work, your food, enjoy the people around you, and enjoy nature. This step alone can save tons of stress.

Be grateful. Life is a Valuable gift. Learn to be grateful for what you have, for the people in your life. With this sort of outlook on life, stress will go down and happiness will go up. Develop an attitude of gratitude is a way of thinking positive, eliminating negative thinking from your life, and thereby reducing stress. That’s a winning formula.

Procrastination. We have lot of time to work on our tasks. Don’t postpone the things & doesn’t allow stuff to pile up will stress us out. Find ways to take care of stuff now and keep your inbox and desk clear.

Multitasking. Multitasking is a good idea, it might seem productive, but in actuality it slows us down from actually focusing on a task and completing it — and it stresses us out in the meantime. Learn to do single task.

Avoid doing Unnecessary Tasks. It’s good to avoid unnecessary tasks from doing. They will definitely stress you out. Learn to simplify the tasks to few essential things, and you will enjoy the process much more.

Eliminate energy drains. Certain things in our life just cause us to be more exhausted than others, with less value. Identify them, and cut them out. You’ll have much more energy and much less stress. Happiness ensues.

Avoid difficult people. Difficult people are from nowhere, they are among us. You know who they are? If you take a minute to think about it, you can identify all the people in your life — bosses, coworkers, customers, friends, family, etc. — who make your life more difficult. Just cut them out of your life.

Avoid being Late. Being late always stresses us out. Learn the habit of being early, and this stress disappears. Make a conscious effort to start getting ready earlier, and to leave earlier. This also makes driving less stressful. Time yourself to see how long it actually takes to get ready, or to do any task and from next time plan accordingly.

Don’t be Workaholic. Workholism is not strength, but it’s a weakness which ruins our life.Once you leave your office, leave everything there itself. Spend some time with your loved ones. One should know how to balance the Professional & Personal life.

Learn to let go. Learn to let go, and accept the way that other people do things, and accept what happens in different situations. The only things you can control is yourself — work on that before you consider trying to control the world. Also learn to separate yourself from tasks and to delegate them. Learning to let go of our need to control others and the situations around us is a major step towards eliminating stress.

Eat healthy. This goes hand-in-hand with exercise as a stress prevention method, of course. Become healthier and a major source of stress will disappear.

Take mini-breaks during work. It’s important to take mini-breaks during your work day. Stop what you’re doing, massage your shoulders and neck and head and hands and arms, get up and stretch, walk around, drink some water. Go outside and appreciate the fresh air and the beautiful sky. Talk to someone you like. Life doesn’t have to be all about productivity. You should also avoid using online activity too much as your de-stressing activity — get away from the computer to relax.

Exercise. This is common advice for stress relief, and that’s because it works … but it’s also a stress prevention method. Exercising helps relieve the stress buildup, it gives you some quiet time to contemplate and relax, and just as importantly, it makes you more fit. A fitter person is better equipped to handle stress. Another important factor: being unhealthy can be a major stressor (especially once you have to go to the hospital), and exercise can help prevent that.

By careful editing of your life, and changing certain habits, you may eliminate which are important, necessary & good to you.

Unrevealed Words to My father

Each minute of our life is a lesson but most of us fail to read it. I thought I would just add my daily lessons & the lessons that I learned by seeing the people around here. So it may be useful for you and as memories for me…….

The article was written by Munn@Prawin….

Hi Dad,

I thought of expressing my feelings to you, but I never.

You are a great dad and a very hard working person. You are my guide, mentor, teacher and my all-time role model in life. There are still a lot of things I have to learn from you in all these years. Every time I see you handling an issue with Honesty, stability & Boldness and patience, I always wonder how you are able to do it.

I remember the days……………

  • The days you worked as an Army Official at the Borders. Even now i feel very proud to say that My Father served our Nation.
  • The unforgettable days in my life are the days when we were in the North India.
  • You used to take me to the Mahamkali temple located on the hill bit away from the firing area. I used to play with my friends Sumi & Suji, whom I remember even now.
  • I remember the hard times when we were in economical drain, after you came retired from Army. You worked as heavy vehicle driver to take care of family. I understood that “Life is not as easy as we dream & it’s not too hard to be scared of, the only thing is we have to understand life”.
  • When you used to pick me & sisters from school during night time, we used to come together on your Bi-cycle. I learned life is responsibility.
  • I travelled almost North & South parts of India along with you. I believe Life is a sweet journey, If my father accompany me all the time.
  •  The days you used to help Mom in making different dishes. I felt to love someone even the smallest things you do matters a lot.
  • You gave lot of freedom to me, but I don’t know why I hid many things & feelings from from you. The reason is I don’t want to hurt you.
  • When our house met with fire accident, there is nothing left, but again you started from scratch. I learn that “Problems are common in Life, our strength lies in, how we respond”.
  • When I was put behind the bars due to some college issues in the year 2004, you stood behind me and gave your hand to come out of that situation.
  • You encouraged me in almost everything that I felt like doing. I realized it is not the winning that matters; it is the participation that matters.
  • The days when you used to get new clothes for family members on any occasion, but you and mom used to buy clothes for yourself very very rarely. I realized how much you care & want us to be happy. Also I realized saving is part of every man’s life.
  • I came to know how much I love you, when i left you to pursue my Higher studies.
  • I remember the day when I came to know that I am the reason for the tears in your eyes, I felt like moving away. But how can I live without you. I realized that I am meaningless without you.
  • The way you took care of your parents, family members & relatives motivated me a lot. Everyone should learn from, how to take care of their parents.
  • I remember the first day of my office, where you you gave me lot of guidelines which  i will never forget.
  • The hardworking and whiz mind of yours…It made me realize hard work always pays off and gives us mental satisfaction.
  • The days you used to wake up early and come home late. I realized a man’s will plays a lot, it is not the body that controls us but it is the mind. I still wonder how you can do it at this age. It is just so amazing.
  • You are an all-rounder nature, made me realize to be a Dad needs this trait always.
Father I may not be good at expressing & showing my care, love, concern & respect, but I strongly believe that you can understand because you are FATHER…..

There are many many many things I learnt from you, which makes me stand out of the crowd even now. Thanks for being a wonderful dad, great role model and a wonderful motivator. I honestly feel, you have greatest skills and skills more than an average man, only we know about it. I wish you all health, happiness and comfort forever.

Please understand your parents & respect the love, hope, dreams & the faith that they kept on you…..Yours Ever lasting…munn@

Please feel free to share your opinion, your relation, attachment with your father in your words  in the comments below.
